If you are using the html editor, you do. Most people, however, use the other editor that pops names up as you type. It sems that you are using the one the majority are using so you should be fine with @tting.
Ahh okay, well thank you very much!

You know, some of his posts really are the way he describes them. I’ll be conserving my future exceptional posts, however; I can’t afford to run over 1,000

Ahhh GirlI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

You do know me, @Zig, you do remember me. Thanks for the picture, I feel welcome. Yes, I still smoke a cigar a day –after dinner; but I’ve quit drinking unless I’m at a party (which happens twice or thrice a year). I haven’t forgotten you either. Gee, it’s good to be back. It’s been a long time, now I’m coming back home, I’ve been away now, oh how I’ve been alone…

I’m here and remember you @Oudis […] One of the threads you created is one of my favourites even tho it’s rarely posted in.
It’s good to know that I started something that other people liked @meanmistermustard –even if it’s just a few. I remember creating several threads, yeah. Cheers.

Hello. How are you?Tell us something about yourself.
Hello Beatles fans,
I’m Don. I first became interested in the Beatles at age 11, during early January, 1964, after the release of their Capital album, Meet The Beatles played over and over on his parents RCA Victor Console by two female babysitters. My dad, also named Don, was a professional drummer and had purchased a scaled, downsize drum set for me in 1961 and taught young Don every aspect from how to hold the drum sticks, to using the left foot on the high-hat pedal and the right foot on the bass drum pedal. Elvis and Everly Brothers 45s used to spin on my own little record player during practice sessions while Dad was at work, but something extraordinary happened in my soul when Iheard Beatles music. I felt better connected to the beat and happier to apply the lessons learned so far following the path of my father. Less than a week later I couldn’t believe Mon would spend two whole dollars and purchase the same album I relished belonging to my babysitters. Day and night, little Don soaked up the Beatles energy listening to their album while tapping away with his drum sticks. Suddenly news spread that the Beatles were coming to America to highlight as guests on the Ed Sullivan show. Our family gathered around the TV set that February 9th and as soon as 11-year-old Don noticed Ringo seated way in the back and the other three holding guitars were positioned right up front, he knew he wanted to be a guitar player. Of course, this revelation was a huge disappointment to my father, who dreamed of having me, his son introduced with a swirling round of applause at band jobs and announced that junior would be setting in for a few lively tunes. But that wasn’t about to happen. Young Don couldn’t be persuaded of giving up the guitar and in July his parents gave him an electric six- string for his 12th birthday. Music lessons began immediately and by age 13, I had written my first song. After three years of lessons, I joined my father’s band and provided all the rock n roll numbers for the night.
Today, i still confess the lads of Liverpool tops my favorite band and biggest influence who inspired me with an ability to produce over 80 original songs, music and lyrics, most of them love songs.
I’m still playing professionally at least once or twice a week and specialize in the big hit tunes of the 60s, which of course includes many Beatles songs. Home is now in Northern California. All are welcome to leave me a message on my blog.

Don.

Hello everyone my name is Dave,bz is part of my last name hence my user name.
I found this site doing a search on the Butcher cover.
I just bought a 2nd state Yesterday and Today,I’ve always wanted to get one.
when I was looking on ebay at the 2nd state albums,I couldn’t always see the black V of Ringo’s shirt.
So I saved the picture’s and edited them with Adobe photoshop to see if I could see the V better.
at first I was just inverting the pictures so they looked like a negative, that made the V show up white and you could see it.
after I got my 2nd state,The V showed really clearly in person and Ringo’s head can be seen slightly in the right light.
I took pictures of it and tried the edit with adjusting the brightness and contrast and the lighten and darken adjustments.
It really brought out Ringo pretty good,so I started searching the web for pictures or forums on people using photoshop on the cover.
I couldn’t find anything,so I wanted to spread the word about it since a lot of people cant see the V in pics and are looking to buy one.
This is a good way to verify that it’s legit, also a good way to sell one showing it’s legit.
Of course how well Ringo shows up depends on the way the picture was taken, lighting, and glare etc.
I have been enjoying reading some of the forums on here seem like a good site.
Dave

Hello, I’m Dave, a long-time lurker who just decided to create a profile here. I’m 51, a middle school teacher from Virginia (outside DC), and I’ve been a fan since around 1978, just in time to get hopeful for a possible reunion after John’s Double Fantasy release in 1980. Alas.
I lean more towards the “post-Dylan experience” music, but do have the entire canon in my music library. Rubber Soul and Revolver are my favorite albums, and as a struggling guitarist, I lean towards George’s songs as my go-to’s.
My only regret is never having seen the Let It Be movie in it’s entirety. By the time I could bear to want to watch it, it went out of circulation.
Glad to be here!
