Thanks.
PS To give you and example I posted a thread on another prominent forum in December about The Beatles putting their catalogue on Spotify (and the implications for the Beatles legacy) which to me was a major development. To date there hasn’t been one response.

Hello lads, I’m George (not my real name), I love me some 60s. Happens that while artists like Bob Dylan are some high preferences for me, my absolute favorites are the British Invasion chaps like the Beatles and the Who. So I’m here since I love the Beatles, essentially like all of y’all.
Great to get to socialize with some fellow modern Beatlemaniacs.
And if you didn’t get it from my avatar and display name, George is my absolute favorite Beatle. However I also love John Lennon for his political wisdom, Paul McCartney for Hey Jude and Let it Be, and Ringo for Octopus’s Garden .

@George
I’m a Harrifan myself, and I’m always happy to see other Harrifans. Have a good look round, and if you need help finding anything, there’s a thread here.

Thank you! I’m happy to get to talk about the Beatles here, although I now see that it seems like I’m one of the only men around here!
There are quite a few males on, though occasionally the fangirls take over certain threads… but we’re good, I promise

Welcome, welcome @Leppo and @George ! I just re-discovered the Beatles back in March so it’s all still a bit new and I learn new things all the time. I’m one of the Ringo fangirls here, I won’t bite lol. Sometimes I get a bit excited over stuff but I’m harmless really. =) Hope you two enjoy your time here!

Hi! I’m new…. I remember listening to the Beatles as a young child. Every night I would listen to the White Album , but I only made it to about the 3rd song before I fell asleep! Because of this, I remember listening to “Back in the U.S.S.R” over and over again. About 4 months ago, I called myself a “fan”, but honestly I never really listened to them. However, my friend introduced me to the “Paul is Dead” rumor, and I was intrigued. At that point, I couldn’t really tell them apart, however as I researched more into the Beatles and their history, I fell in love with them and their music. I started listening to the White Album first, then moving on to Revolver , Rubber Soul , and my Abbey Road . I began collecting their records, and could even tell their voices apart. At that point I was definitely a fan. I am now trying to buy their movies online, and am working up my collection of CDs and records. I am just so obsessed! 🙂
My favorite album is either Abbey Road or Rubber Soul , however this is likely going to change at some point. I don’t have a favorite Beatle, I enjoy all of their traits the same!

Welcome to our lovely Forum, @PenelopeLane!
A lot of our members here (myself included) have been Beatlemaniacs for quite a long time and it’s become our version of ‘normal’ , so it’s refreshing to see some new recruits who are still in the first flush of obsession.
I count those two albums among my favourites as well (along with Revolver )– they are certainly good ones!

Welcome aboard @PenelopeLane
It just so happens that I also spent much of my early childhood listening to the White Album ! Only I would rarely make it through the whole thing. My favorite song back then was Blackbird , and it remains my absolute favorite Beatles song to this day. I only got back into them about a year and a half ago, so like you, I’ve had to do some catching up. Anyway, I hope you like it here in forumpool. Cheers!

That’s how I kinda got into ’em too. I still have nightmares if someone starts listing off the “clues”.
