Offline I’m not particularly new to the forum anymore, but I’ve never taken the time to give you all a proper introduction to myself.
My name’s Sheepdog, and it comes from the first word of Hey Bulldog (not a reference to the dog in Martha My Dear ).
I am a guy.
I can’t really decide on a favorite Beatle because I’ve been through stages where I was sure it was one of them that made them so great. Right now I’m in a John stage, but I’m evolving to a George stage.
Much like pennylaneisinmyears, I did not like John Lennon much, especially on the later albums, until I grew up and understood the things he meant.
My first favorite song was A Hard Day’s Night , followed shortly by She Loves You .
I first listened to Sgt. Pepper while mowing lawns, and the title track was the first song post 1964 that I liked.
I fell for the Beatles because I was forced to take piano lessons when I was a kid, and I grew very tired of only knowing classical music.
After the Beatles, my favorite band is Creedence Clearwater Revival.
My favorite Stones song is Paint it Black
The Beatles were clearly better than the Stones, but it’s hard enough for a Beatle fan to argue John Lennon vs. Paul McCartney , much less Stones/Beatles with a die-hard Stones fan, so it’s best to Let it Be 
.

Offline Hi, this is my first post here.
I’m 22 yr old Beatles fan from London. Just wanted to sign up here and declare my love for them, they are my favorite band 🙂
I don’t really remember how I got into them, think I just started listening to their best hits on youtube around 5-6 yrs ago and also bought the rock band Beatles edition game which I loved.
Well my favourite Beatle is Paul (saw him live last month :D) and my 3 favourite songs are : Strawberry Fields Forever /Something /Here,there and everywhere

Offline Hello all! I’m rather newly registered, but I’ve been reading along at your site for ages and I love it! I am a huge John fan and have been for all I remember of my life. I’m female and was born on John’s 21st birthday. One of my earliest memories was seeing them perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. My mother also enjoyed their music and kept their records on constant play in our home. I’ve always gravitated more towards John and I cannot pinpoint exactly why…it just is that way. My favorite Beatles songs are I Am The Walrus , Strawberry Fields Forever , Dear Prudence , Rain and All You Need Is Love .
