Hi! I’m Courtney. I was born on June 22nd and I’m at the grand old age of 17. (ancient, right?) and i’ve been a Beatlemaniac all my life thanks to my brother introducing me to them when I was 5 or 6. It was pretty rough having to go throughout middle school pretending I was some kind of strange flower child that was born in the entirely wrong generation, and for that I often got picked on a lot and music was my only escape. Now that I am an upperclassman in high school, i’ve creating more friends with the same music taste as me. I’m currently living in Nashville, Tennessee. Hence, i’m from the south so if my dialect influences the way I type, I apologize. I also run a Beatles appreciation blog on tumblr. I actually used to browse the forum all the time and finally just decided to register a few moments ago, so forgive me if I make a few errors with the posting and creating topics.
Here’s some facts I guess:
- My favorite Beatle is Paul
- My favorite album is The White Album
- My favorite song is either Rain or Helter Skelter
- The Shea Stadium outfits were the best outfits.
And I guess that’s all?

I don’t have much time atm so I’m gonna be pretty brief about this one:
I’m the fabulously handsome Zachary Reynolds aka Zach aka The Faul on the Hill who is 18, wears nerdy glasses and literally lives on a hill.
My main Beatle interest period is netween Rubber Soul all the way to the Anthology series and I would go into further detail but like I said I’m very short on time (gotta get some sleep, dead tired) so I’ll fill you guys in on the details some time tomorrow.
Good Night everybody, everybody everywhere… Good Night 😉

Good mornin’ fellas!
I’m back from having a really great kip last night, best sleep I had in ages 😀
For me, the Beatles were at their apex of creativity and maturity from the period between 1965-1969 when they started focusing on consistently writing their own material regardless of any musical, lyrical or production boundaries. The Anthology series (Especially volumes 2 & 3) is what got me into the Beatles in the first place at the insistence of my granddad who wanted to broaden my musical horizons (He certainly did a really good job on that!) and all that followed on from there …

Hi all and Thanks, Joe, great site.
I live in MA, USA and have loved the Beatles for most of my life. I was born during the height of Beatlemania and became a collector of Beatles records in my teens, a hobby I have largely abandoned.
Still have all the music on LP, CD and mp3, and still listen to it all the time.
My children are the next generation of Beatles fans. They both will only listen to the Beatles in the car. I try to expand their horizons, but the farthest they sometimes want to go is solo career Beatles. They are now addicted to Paul’s most recent album, “New”.
I am a musician, and just posted my version of a lovely Paul song, “I Will “, in the appropriate place on the forum.

Nice to meet you @A Serviceable Villain – my kids like the Beatles a lot as well, but prefer the group albums and a few of the early solo efforts.

Yo ho ho!
I’m a veteran of the Beatles Bible forum from way back — took a long break I can’t remember when (seems like about a year ago) — and just returned a couple of days ago. My old name was “Funny Paper”, now I have a new name. I thought it was time for a change; why not?
If anyone’s interested they can see Everything They Don’t Want to Know about Funny Paper from this Google search page to all the discussions I participated in, or topics I created, here on Beatles Bible on this link.

I noticed the new introduction from “mccartnie” (Courtney) and given that she’s 17, I thought she might be interested in reading an old topic I created here on Beatles Bible over two years ago (April 2013) — specifically about the interesting sociological phenomenon of the very young Beatles fan in our time.
https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..-under-20/
I think the Beatles are the only band that still has very young fans some 50 years after that band made its first splash! That’s quite remarkable, and I think unique in the annals of popular music history. One thing I find interesting is the problem (or non-problem) of teen peer pressure on a Beatles fan today. Some of the BBers who responded to my topic who were around Courtney’s age (or even younger I think) said they experience no negative vibes from their peers; others said they do.
