Welcome to the fabulous Forum, @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<! I hope you find it a fun and refreshing experience. New-member apples:
I personally enjoy the smileys and forum games too much, but there is a great deal of fine, intelligent Beatle discussion here.

Hi everyone!
My name is Chantal, but I’ll be posting here as JPM-Fangirl. I’m a 36 year-old Beatlemaniac from the Netherlands. I’ve always loved their music, but I find my appreciation just gets bigger as I get older.
Not much to tell about myself, I suppose. My time is mostly spent listening to music and helping organise the Redhead Days festival. Oh, and I’ll be attending my first Macca concert in June. Very happy about that.
Anyway, if anyone wants to know more, just ask
Hallo! Welkom op de Beatlesbible!
As you can tell I’m Dutch as well, and it’s great to see another person from here on this forum! May I ask what the Redhead Days festival is?
Cool that you’re going to see Paul, I’m going too! Do you have good seats or are you going to stand?

Hoi @Linde! Bedankt voor je reactie
Judging by the seat I got, I was either the first or the second (one of the first in any case) to claim a seated ticket (in the pre-presale) since I’ve managed to get one of the best spots in the house: first ring, corner of the first row in one of the two best (and most expensive) sections. I’m only 5’3″ (1.60m) so standing isn’t an option because I’d be stuck staring at people’s backsides all evening. Being 4-8″ shorter than the average person, I wouldn’t even be able to see the video screens. So I shelled out some extra money and since I’ve got a front row seat, I’ll have an unobstructed view of the stage. The ticket price is the equivalent of groceries for 3 weeks. Add a train ticket and some merchandise and we’re looking at more than I spend on groceries in a month and a half, but it’s Macca so it’s justified Besides, eating and sleeping is for wusses anyway…haha!
The Redhead Days is a 3-day festival for natural redheads and their friends/family/fans, first weekend of September in Breda. It’s on Facebook (I’m the page admin) if you’d like to learn more about it.
It’s cool to see I’m not the only Dutchie here. I’m inclined to think we’re not a very chauvinistic people, though. Nationality doesn’t matter much to me. Besides, I’m hoping to move to London some time in the future…haha!

Wow, I’m super jealous. I’m in the second ring, 6th row, but still pretty close. It’s just reeeeeaaally high. A good friend of mine went to see The Script last week, and she was sat in exactly the same spot, only about 4 rows higher and said she didn’t dare to look down. I’ve got a fear of heights so we’ll see. Unfortunately I don’t have as much money to spend as you, as I’m just a poor student haha.
Alright. I’ve heard about Redhead Day but I didn’t know there was an actual festival for that. I’ll take a look at the page, it sounds cool. I was actually born a redhead (but it soon changed into blonde goldish). I’ve got a few redhead friends and I think red hair is great, if you’ve got nice hair (but that basically goes for every colour, doesn’t it)
There are more Dutchies here beside @Beatleva (who doesn’t actually live in the Netherlands anymore), me and you. I can remember this guy Gerrit something something and I’m sure there were more. BUT NOT ENOUGH!

Truth be told, I don’t have that much to spend either. I’m on WAO (have been for over 10 years now) and I receive the same as someone on WWB, so that should tell you enough My darling mother, a huge Beatles fan herself, gave me a loan which I’ll pay back in the last week of May. Oh dear, this must all sound very cryptic to the others, but you and any other Dutch person should understand what I mean. Anyway, don’t worry about the height. You won’t be looking down anyway, will you? I’ve been told the video screens are enormous and the show should be very entertaining.
I don’t have the most exciting shade of red hair. In fact, the hair dresser once said that when she’s thinking about red hair, she thinks about that vibrant copper. I didn’t say much, but I was a bit offended. I am unmistakably ginger and I’ve been bullied to hell and back for it. Oh well, she’s a blonde… You should definitely come, it’s so much fun!
