I’m a 21 year-old guy from Sweden who loves The Beatles. I discovered the band about 4 years ago and fell in love immediately. Other bands I listen to are Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Oasis, Blur, etc.

I’m a midwest gent who has been enjoying JPGR since I wee lad. (in the 70’s) I come from a musical family, and have spent a great deal of time over the years listening, researching, playing, and seeing live music. I’m in the midst of a project that involves Beatles music, by other artists. Where might one go in the vast variety of forums for such a subject?

Offline Hi, I’m Sarah (known as Sair on t’internet), 54 years old, brainwashed by older sister throughout my childhood with Beatles. Strong childhood memories – sis played Twist And Shout EP repeatedly, I knew all the words of Hey Jude at age 7; tried to correct my Dad who liked to make lyrics up when he didn’t know them.
I’m a mother. My 22 year old daughter is at University. She’s not a Beatles fan but quite likes Eleanor Rigby .
I’ve done the whole Liverpool and London Beatles pilgrimage – highlight of all is having been inside Forthlin Road and Mendips homes.
Taught myself to play acoustic guitar (badly) by using ‘The Beatles Complete’ and ‘Wings Complete’ for guitar – all the chord tabs at the top of each song’s page.
I’ve met Paul and Linda (briefly) at the Tyne Tees Studios Tube recording of ‘Only Love Remains’ and got Paul’s autograph on my Only Love Remains vinyl single sleeve which was released two days before the recording.
Have been in the same room as Paul 4 times – Tube recording, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne 1979, Wembley Arena January 1990 and O2 London 22 Dec 2009.
Continue to want to listen to everything I have not yet heard from the Beatles/solo and collect/swap unauthorised material.
Hope to find Beatles-fan friends here – old and new.
