Offline Hi all,
Modrate Beatle fan all my life because of my dad. This summer I have gone Beatles mad! Irritating my friends with useless facts about all their personal lives and I basically have all their albums on repeat everywhere I go.
Paul is my favourite, I feel he is gods gift to music, genuinely. I love his voice and he can definitely write a good song or two.
Favourites atm – mother natures son – All My Loving – Martha My Dear – I’m Down – I’ve Got A Feeling – Honey Pie -psiluvu
Old favourites – Hey Jude – oh darling – Back In The USSR – Michelle – I Saw Her Standing There
I had much distain for John for much of my life and although I still feel he is very overhyped, I am definitely uncovering the beauty in the complexity of many of his songs, which I find fascinating now because it’s like I’m hearing them fresh (hellooo Tomorrow Never Knows ) so am a big fan of John also but not as much as my Paul.
Favourites atm – Strawberry Fields Forever – Across The Universe – mr kite – Tomorrow Never Knows – I Am The Walrus
Old favourites – ballad of John and yoko – Norwegian Wood – hide your love away – And Your Bird Can Sing – hard days night
George and Starr deserve shouts of course, Something and I Me Mine are magic, Here Comes The Sun obviously and For You Blue has really grown on me.
As you can see I can talk about these guys forever, I love every period in their career as a group and am very excited to finally be able to share my thoughts and oppinions with people that also see what I see in the fab four!
