Offline Hello everyone!
My name is Caroline, I’m fifteen and I live in France. I have a quite unhealthy obsession about the Beatles. I was eleven, looking through my sibling’s music when I came across them and now I can’t get rid of them (not that I want to anyway!). I’m probably not the only one but their music makes me so happy and I’m so grateful I got to know them even though I got to like new bands and things with time. I don’t have a favorite member, song or album (they change all the time) but Revolver and the White Album have a special place in my heart! Songs like Got To Get You Into My Life , I Want To Tell You , Don’t Pass Me By … just get me. It’s not really interesting but during a trip in London, I’ve seen the Beatles musical and it was great, I hope you guys heard about it. Along my obsession with the Beatles, I started really liking the sixties aesthetics and Britain as a country. I’m very interested about other stuff like books, history… I’ve seen the Arctic Monkeys live last month also and I’m still not over it cuz it was great.
I hope I haven’t bored you to death and hope to talk to you soon

Offline Thank you very much!! I love hearing about over people’s Beatles history, it’s like hearing about a love story (that lasts decades and decades sometimes) and it’s very cute regardless if the person got into them in 1963 or 2013

Offline Hi guys, I’m Jon.
I’ve lurked on the site for a while, and on a whim I decided to join last night. Anyway, as there isn’t anybody that I know personally that loves the Beatles like I do, it’s great that there is a community like this so that fellow obsessives all over the world can talk about what we love.
I’ll try not to bore you with the details of how my love for this band began, but quite ashamedly, when I was 11 or 12 I was of the mindset that the Beatles were overrated, which was probably the result of an immature mind which had become bored of people always talking about how good this band was. I know, I had a bit of a shocker there. However, not long after this, I was on my way to playing a Rugby match and my dad had some music playing in the car. It was amazing, like nothing I had ever heard. I asked my dad who it was and he told me it was the Beatles. Turned out that song was A Day In The Life . That was seven years ago and in the meantime my obsession has obviously grown to the point that I am joining this site.
I hope I didn’t bore any of you with that! I look forward to contributing.
