Hey there! I’ve been a huge Beatles fan for quite a while and enjoyed this forum, so I decided to get an account myself. My favorite Beatle is John Lennon , and my favorite Beatles song (very difficult decision) is Rain . It’s nice to be able to talk to people who enjoy the same music as me, because if I try to with any of my peers, they’ll usually just give me weird and confused looks. The same response ensues when I try to tell them that most of today’s popular music is rubbish. I can’t wait to have fun with you guys!

As you’ve figured out, you won’t get confused looks when you talk Beatles to us.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone
I might as well add a bit more about myself since I have loads of time and I don’t really have much else to do.
I’ve always been quite musical since I was young (although I didn’t get into lyrical ‘proper’ music until recently), often singing to video game theme or TV tunes, but I never learnt piano until I was eleven. I didn’t get any grades or take any exams, but I learnt all the basics and learnt to play by ear pretty well. Whilst I can read and write sheet music, I’m not very good or quick at it. I prefer to watch than to read (which is weird, since I love writing).
Since I got into the Fab Four a couple of months ago, I’ve advanced a lot musically. I’ve watched and learnt from piano tutorials on YouTube, but I haven’t yet learnt guitar or any other instruments. I tried to have a brief romance with the guitar when I was about nine, but I gave up. I’m hoping to move back onto it when I get the strings fixed and tuned up, but I can’t be bothered.
They’ve definitely inspired me to write music. I’ve got loads of song ideas and lyrics scattered about, but I’ve never fully realised them. I’m hoping to create my first piece tomorrow, since I’ve been hit with a really bad spell of anxiety and it’s horrible, so I’m blasting Beatles songs into my ear on full volume.
Speaking of which, the anxiety and depression is really hard to cope with, and I feel like I’m reaching breaking point. I do have a lot of people supporting me, and the last community I told eventually got tired of it so I’ll try not to bring it up. It’s odd how I’m coping with unrequited love by listening to songs all about love, isn’t it? Hm.
Another thing I feel I should mention about little ol’ me – I’m getting into filmmaking and screenwriting (although I don’t really have many friends to film with ), but I’ve got a few ideas in my head. I’d quite like to make a film about the young Beatles (similar to Nowhere Boy), although I’m not sure whether I’d play John, Paul or George – I’ve been told I look like all of them. In terms of age, I’d probably come closest to Paul around that time. I’ve been heavily inspired by ’60s culture and I also want to make a film set in that time, since it’s the closest I’ll get to actually living in that time. I’m already decorating my room in a ’60s style, with old Beatles posters and girls in miniskirts. You can’t say no to girls in miniskirts.

I don’t think that would happen. We’re all very peaceful.

Well most of the time. At times a little fire starts to burn but a fireman or two bursts in from the pouring rain and restores order.

It appears we have a number of new members. Welcome. We hope you enjoy talking about the Beatles and what their music means to or does for you. That is what most of us are here for.
While this thread is the one most come to first, the Admin/Mods would like to have you review the Forum guidelines as well. Here is a link:
https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..rum-rules/
We encourage you to have fun, but please try your best to keep the conversations relevant. Admittedly, I tend to get a bit irrelevant at times, but I know where the line is. If you are not sure where the line is, we will be most happy to help you find it.
If you want to know a lot more about the band, we have a wealth of folks that can help you. If you want to have fun with us while we talk about the band, music, people, whatever; you are in the right place.
However, if you feel the need to create havoc, bogus accounts, or awkward moments, please find yourself another community. All you will do here is bore us.
Let’s keep this site clean and not muck it up with troll droppings. Our shovels are bigger than yours. Trust me.
Peace and Love,
Zig

Hello, my name is Irate Marauder and I’m an alcoholic. Ok, maybe not. But I am a huge fan of the Beatz (Which some find weird, as my favorite genre is hip-hop). I am a bit of a newbie at Beatles, I only really got into them last September. I have hear them before then, but I had little sparks of interest in them back then, really just listening to the greatest hits. But, ya know, being a hip-hop head kind of pushed my Beatles addiction back for awhile. I will admit that my love for hip-hop has died a little since the fab four have entered my life, but I don’t mind it. I also have a youtube channel and facebook page, but thats not only for Beatles (also includes rap, wrestling, video games). So I guess thats really it, and thanks for the welcomes!

Heya fellow Beatle-lovers!!!
I’m a 13 year old girl who has been diagnosed with OBD (Obsessive Beatles Disorder) Since 2 months I have been completely into the Beatles, it suddenly hit me that the Beatles were like the best band ever when I saw “She Loves you” on TV. I love all the Beatles with all my heart but Paul is my favourite
I’m very excited to be able to talk to other Beatle fans, at least you guys will understand my choice of music, unlike some of my “friends.”
My favourite song changes often, at first it was “Eight Days A Week ” then “Hey Jude ” and now “For No One .” Which was the first ever song to make me cry… Beautiful!!!
I’m kind of living in this dream world where I sometimes forget that 2 of The Beatles are dead and that the band has split up. I love the Beatles so much and refuse to listen to any other music than the Beatles, not all people are too happy with my obsession. But as my mom says, better the Beatles than people like Dustbin Beaver.
Can’t wait to meet all you Beatle lovers!!!

I think we all come and go from that dream world from time to time. Welcome again! And if I’m ever unfortunate enough to have to speak of Justin Beiber, I have a new name for him!
