Just be careful @trcanberra, not a good idea to walk up to a lady you don’t know and ask if she wants to go for a walk outside, just the two of you.
So, “Come with me to the Casbah” is not a good idea?

Probably not. Don’t you have those match making evenings in Australia where one person sits at a table and every five minutes a newbie gets to chat with them? There must be something you can do. Not that i can think of much.

@trcanberra, hang out at the library and see if you can find a single woman who reads steamy romance novels. If she checks out some Beatles or Beach Boys music too, then you know you have found a good catch.

If anyone of you remember that I once told a story about my friend who got a cool-dudes company. Well, we’re getting good together, but I am smoothing my relationship with my other friends and some old friends, everything is going fine. I saw him today with the girl I used to like, they seemed to have fun. The best part was that I didn’t feel jealousy and anger actually I was happy that I helped him getting together with her and Im proud of myself for that. Well, I think im a good matchmaker, haha.
The Highlights of the day is that we had a film show today. I got myself a decent seat in hall along with my friends (old, new and the cool-dudes). Everything was going fine until a boy told me that we were going to watch a horror film. Film was Anna-bell (i think, it the one which starts with a couple who are going to have a baby soon)
At first, my heart was beating fast and i didn’t look at the screen for some time when the man brings a haunted doll. There were 2 thoughts in my mind
1) WHY ! the heck most of the scary haunted films involve a doll, don’t they know that I have a strong fear of dolls.
2) Get Me Out Of Here (Paul’s song on repeat)
After a little time I got comfortable and watched it, I guess it didn’t look horror at all maybe that is cause I was surrounded by my friends but the film overall seems to have suspense than horror, but my throat was dry. The most horror scene was when the demon attacks the woman (who dies in the end) from the roof but damn I missed it as I was looking elsewhere but everyone screamed and a boy’s leg touched mine at the exact time of scene, so the most horror scene was the one which I missed.
But I won’t be able to wonder late til night like an owl and my fear of dolls have increases. If i’ll ever have a daughter someday, I won’t buy her a doll, barbies seems fine but not the stuffed ones. NO NEVER !

@Hey Jude ! You should be glad they didn’t use the original doll. Though I don’t know which one is scarier.

Before, I opened the spoiler section I took a deep breath, I think I really have a phobia of such dolls.
Such dolls in the the intro of movies sounds so cute but in end turns into such big B(censored)s (can’t curse and use profanity, it’s a family friendly forum) The doll in my film had a haunted face from the very beginning. I would like to do a research on the film but im too scared.

Is it @Linde who has the same fear factor regarding dolls in horror films?

Yes it’s me!
This week was absolutely terrible. Something bad that has affected my parents, brother and grandma has happened and that’s why I wasn’t on here. And my internship went pretty bad too this week. Now things are looking up again and I’m glad to have spent some time with my friends and I’m looking forward to Christmas and this two week break.
I got better too. I was too stubborn to go see a doctor and told my mom I’d be fine without anything so I just took a few throat sweets, had some rest and now I’m fine! There’s a flu epedemic going on here though.

Thanks. So now I’d really like to know all your Christmas plans, people of the Beatlesbible.
Glad to hear things are on the up and up – we have had one of those awful summer flu things down here, I’ve managed to avoid it so far luckily.
Complicated Christmas here with me splitting up with you-know-who and all, so my brother is coming down from Brisbane but has to stay in a motel as my (3 months to the divorce) ex has decided he is an ‘evil man’ and not allowed in the house. So, planning on a quiet time if that is possible and just spend some time with my kids and brother.

So he cant come in for a coffee? That’s bizarre and not a great way to endear you to someone. What’s going to happen if he did, Satan will enter and take all the souls back down to the Underworld to feast on?
So far i have spent 10 minutes on buying 2 presents. I have zero enthusiasm for it all. As for the day family are coming round for the first time in about 7 years (in those years Christmas has spent at hotels, i’ve stayed at home on my own for the last 2 joining them in the evening which was really enjoyable). So there is a lot to get organised and then pick-up. And then we have to find some way of cooking it all, already the turkey is being cooked elsewhere the night before.
And on the 28th we are having more family around and pretty much doing it all again – tho with far less food thankfully. The amount of food ordered is insane.

I don’t think either one of them wants to endear themselves to the other at this point
I am SO looking forward to never having a Christmas like this again – even if I am living under a bridge somewhere.

We have exams just after the Chrismas break, so I have to spend the vacation studying
I also have got a test schedule but they are not super important so i am fine
Okay now Linde’s question.
I’ll be preparing myself better for finals as mid term wasn’t good enough to satisfy me and parents. I’ll sleeping late (NOT Because of studies) and waking up about 2-3 pm and will be listening to songs
