Offline Well, it looks like my Dad is going to be coming home on Friday. Thank you all for the kind words.
On the other hand, that girl I mentioned on page 81, I texted her and told her that I liked her last night. She said that she is with someone now, but if I had asked her earlier (presumably before the dance) that “things would be different.” She was really sorry. We are still friends, though, so at least things are ok that way. I’m not mad at her at all, in fact, I’m actually kind of happy for her because she and I have been through similar things. I am just really mad at myself for not asking her earlier. Anyways, looks like its back to square one.

Don’t be mad for not asking her earlier. Be proud of yourself for the fact that at least you dared to confess your feelings.
I’m sick of being sick. Have been sick for over a week now. Every day I’m going to school to not miss out anything and go home early and go to bed. I’m in bed now, in fact. It’s annoying.

From this ill-informed vantage point, I’d say she’s definitely leaving a door open and you have absolutely nothing to lose by letting her know that you’d still be interested were she to become available again. But if it doesn’t work out just learn from it. Next time be a bit bolder and show an interest. The worst that can happen is that you don’t get anywhere, but if you do nothing that’ll be the outcome anyway. Good luck x
