@Hey Jude ! I guess that’s the plan, we need to sort ourselves out a little more before we post a cover but it’s definitely gonna happen!

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my friend. It was rather weird, just to think of the fact that I won’t see him anymore. The goodbye was basically, “hope to see you again in the next 30 years or so.” Only when I got home I cried and I cried for quite a bit.

It’s painful to see the empty spot in the class. I will miss him a lot.

@Beatleva , sorry to hear about your friend moving away. I know you were dreading the day. For now, be thankful he was in your life. It’ll take some time, but you will feel better.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Saying goodbye is never nice, especially if it’s someone you knew well. You will miss him, but over time that will become less and less and you will get great new friends too.

This 4 year old flipped the bird at some kid at my internship. I couldn’t believe it when the kid told me. I sat down and explained to the kid why it was wrong and I could tell that he really didn’t know what it meant, because he looked shocked and as if he was about to break out in tears. I kind of felt sorry for him too. There are also these 2 8 year old girls who think I’m great. One of them hugged me and one of them sat in front of me on a stool and then let herself fall down to the back so she landed on my lap. That made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Oh well, them liking me is a very positive thing.

School is stressful. Got my Research thingie back. We had gone to the teacher for feedback every week and most of it was positive. We were very certain we would have at least an 8 out of 10, but then we got the results back and the teacher who corrected it (not the same as the one who teaches the subject) said the information was worth a 5 out of 10 but she gave us a 1ahdn_paul_01She said our interview questions were horrible, while our teacher kind of came up with most of them. She also thought the main question of our research sucked, which was also the teacher’s idea. We were stunned and above of all just pissed. I mean, if you put a lot of time and effort into something and the teacher gives you positive feedback on everything and has read the whole thing, you would expect at least a sufficient mark, right?

Today I wrote part of a song that’s a tribute to the Beatles in a way, will post the lyrics when I make them look/sound a little better!

Just stood on a drawing pin. Cue much swearing as it was pulled out.

@Linde, does your school have a grievance policy? I think you have a very good case.

@meanmistermustard, what is a drawing pin?

AD40 got it. What you call a drawing pin we call a thumb tack. Sometimes we call them push pins. Is “drawing pin” only used in Scotland or is it more widespread?

Today I found out I failed one of my papers for my course so it looks like I am having to go back next year to complete. A bit annoying as I thought I was all finished.

Currently Im in my room. I don’t think there’s one word for these kinds of pins. My 3th grade teacher would call them Drawing Pins, 4th grade called them soft board pin and some called them thumb tacks and thumb pins. I don’t think it has got one name (this isn’t biology where you give scientific names to organisms…like corvus for crow) and I simply call them  pins
