My ears have started hurting again ?. I dunno why they’re hurting this time.
I think it might be yet another infection. I’ve had more than normal ear ringing (for me at least) and my ear (right) has been having pains that feel like ear drainage. I might have to see the doctor again.
For the past few years my left ear has been kinda messed up, it drains randomly, it pops randomly (even without a change in altitude), it hurts to put my hearing aid in and it builds up a bunch of pressure,it sounds like it has an ear infection/Swimmer’s ear (It has a sound to it. The best I can describe is it sounds kinda like rumbling?). I’ve gone to the ear doctor several times and they haven’t found anything wrong with my Left ear.
I don’t even know why Im complaing about this, I think Im just annoyed. I don’t want to get another mystery problem with my ear that doesn’t go away for years. I just want both my ears to work semi-normally. I want the ringing to go away. I guess you can’t always get what you want (Rolling Stones Rock n Roll circus reference!)
Anyways sorry for the rant.

I hope you find a doctor who can give you a correct diagnosis and help you, @Oakwood.
Retirement is going by too quickly. I can’t do everything I need and want to do.

Summer is over, Autumn is here, Winter is coming and I have a cold. If anyone wishes to start a crowdfunding page to allow me to move to somewhere very warm and sunny for six months from tomorrow feel free. If that is too much hard work I’ll happily accept one large sum or to stay in your home (if you are living somewhere warm and sunny for the next six month – note: this would be a house swap or you simply move out, I’m not a guest).
The only possibility of something good is if it snows.

To have something to look forward over the winter to I have booked to see Kylie live next June in Glasgow. One of the few artists I can listen to for more than three tracks without getting the need to go elsewhere. And as it is a one off experience I bought decent tickets. This month is costing me a fortune. It’s my first concert since I saw Ringo in Glasgow – in 2011!!! Wow!
And for anyone who is under the impression the PWL era is empty feel good pop

Just got permission to do a rooftop show in school, I now have full support from the department of student life, we’re going to play through a setlist with beatles songs carefully selected for only live shows.
Going to be john in a Beatles tribute band, although we’re still a trio, looking for George.

Just adopted a puppy. Was between a girl and a boy; the boy wouldve been named Eddie, after “There You Are Eddie” from the Get Back rehearsals and Braves postseason legend Eddie Rosario. Instead we got a girl and named her Penelope after her namesake from the Odyssey, and call her Penny for short, (of course I needed the name to be a Beatles reference.)

What breed (if any) is Penny, @sir walter raleigh? She looks sweet.
In my life: I accepted a promotion to framing manager at work about a month ago because we had been trying to find one for months with no success. Adjusting to my new work schedule and responsibilities right as we ramp up to peak season has been kicking my backside. To cope, I’ve been getting into 80s goth music and listening to The Cure a lot. (Previously, I had been on a big New Wave kick, getting in to Duran Duran, then Japan. I blame David Bowie for that. )

I’ve been hit with norovirus, and just as I’ve started to turn a corner my other half has come down with it too! A very rough few days in our house.
What’s the best Beatles era to listen to while poorly? I think avoiding the psychedelic stuff might be best
I think it's great you're going through a phase,
and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

Poodles are good puppers.
Speaking of pets, I think my family has been adopted. The Cat Distribution Service reached out to us earlier this year with a roughly 8-week-old abandoned black-and-white tuxedo kitten, but we weren’t in a place to take care of a kitten, so we found a neighbor who could give him a home. Well, the CDS is back with an adult orange semi-longhaired cat who walked into our kitchen on Saturday night and just won’t leave us alone. He’s being fed somewhere (probably charming his way into the food bowls of our neighbors’ pets) but he just keeps coming back to our house for pets. We can’t get rid of him… not that we’ve tried very hard. He’s the friendliest and most endearing cat.
I suppose he’ll have to fend for himself for a few days, as we’re going to see David Gilmour in concert in New York City (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), but he should be fine till we get back & decide what to do with the feline overlord.
