That’s my situation too. Are you close enough to a fire hydrant to get a discount on your house insurance?

So this first period we had to do presentations on mental disorders. As a motivation the teacher promised us that the best presentation would win a pie. Now, I think I told you that that presentation was literally the worst presentation I’ve ever done. I forgot my words, couldn’t read the words on my tablet, because I left my reading glasses on the table, started sweating and getting red spots and I became insecure because everyone looked bored/at their mobile phones. Anyway, today I walked into class and the teacher informed me and my partner that we had in fact won the pie, because we simply had the best presentation. So awesome!
Also, today was my last shift at my former internship. I would have continued as a volunteer, had I had more time, because it’s fun, but I’m too busy with my new internship and school and I just want to really have a day off at my day off. I have continued a bit longer than I had to, but I really couldn’t combine it anymore. Anyway, as a thank you present I got a gift card for a make up store. The thought I’d get a present didn’t even occur to me.
Today was such a good day. Everything went well and with the pie and the presents it felt like it was my birthday!

Sitting on the outside deck of a local restaurant listening to a guy play a guitar and sing. Just ordered our meal. Very pleasant.I wonder if he will play a Beatles song? I may request one towards the end of our meal if he doesn’t play one.
@ScrambledEggs would play some.
Oh I definitely would!
I had a gig last Friday, we played lots of Beatles songs. I’ll ask my sister if she recorded some of them and show them to you guys.
In the meanwhile, I am stuck studying 24/7, my exam week is the following week. Someone pour some knowledge into my brain please

Oh my gawd – that’s the first question I had as well! Great minds…
Well done, @Linde ! Sounds like you had a great day. I hope that wave of good fortune carries you for a bit longer. You’ve worked very hard on all of this and it is fabulous that you are reaping the rewards.

Congrats @Linde on winning the pie for such a good presentation. Is there any left? Does one of us need to bring cream, if so ice or whipped?
All the best with your exam studies @ScrambledEggs. Would be great to see and hear your playing?

Thank you so much, you guys.@meanmistermustard I’ll try to upload some stuff after the 8th of November, when my exams have finished. I literally don’t know where my head is right now :/
@ScrambledEggs, for your head check above your shoulders, not too far from the movement that you may or may not need.
And looking forward to the live footage/audio.
Are you feeling any better @Hey Jude !? @Starr Shine?, how are you feeling after yesterday?

It was just yer regular cream pie. She had bought two pies, one cream pie and one with fruit, so we could pick one and picked the former. We then shared it with a few classmates.
Right now I’m very busy. Exams and deadlines for projects coming up. I like being busy though. I just don’t like being stressed. It feels like I haven’t been on here for ages, while it’s only been two days. I’m checking a few threads at the time. Funny thing is, I check this thread, impossible to derail and other threads about personal things rather than the Beatles related stuff.
I’m also rekindling a friendship with a girl who used to be my best friend, so that’s positive too. I’m not sure if we’ll ever be best friends again, but to be friends again would be great. Too many good memories and common interests. Would be a waste.
My younger sister is moving out next week, which isn’t a bad thing either.
My grandma is getting better too. Her wounds and bruises from when she fell two months ago have almost disappeared completely and she’s almost recovered from her pneumonia.
So yeah, I’m pretty content with the way my life is going right now, except for the stress from the whole situation at home, but that’s a minor detail which shouldn’t define my life.
Good luck on your exams btw @ScrambledEggs WE’RE GONNA ACE THAT S**T!
