*I’m doing little, occasionally I go for a walk or do something around the house but live is quiet and restful. The Premier League is back on TV so that gives something beneficial to watch.
For about 90 minutes during last night, there was an incredible thunderstorm which was cool to experience.

I’ve just started scanning all my family’s old slides. 12 down, probably about 2000 to go…
Wish me luck

I’m lying belly down in the blueberry patch listening to Paul in one ear and the birds in the other, nibbling berries, and watching two little rabbits hopping around eating berries. Life is damn good.
(Will post pics of wabbits later when I get to computer)

Happy Father’s Day to all my fellow Forumpudlian dads!
Feeling super blessed with the gifts I received from Mrs. Ramon and the kids – first edition vinyl of “With The Beatles ” and Captain Beefheart’s “Trout Mask Replica.” Also an X “I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts” t-shirt.
Hoping for fish and chips for dinner, I haven’t had good fish and chips since my trip to Dublin two years ago…

Hi @sigh butterfly. It was beautiful. Physical distancing was mostly adhered to and they still had a great turn out. As with all events, there were a few minor setbacks (slight but constant wind blew over many decorations), but my daughter smiled through it all. “I’m here to get married, not to worry about the little things.” I knew she was a trooper!
Thanks so much for asking.

Can’t wait to hear it Beatlebug. Someday I’d love to see a video showing how you learn to play a tune. You seem to have mad skills in that direction (a song per week at least me thinks)
Haha… I don’t know how exciting that would be, lots of me listening to songs over and over, googling chords, and cursing under my breath…
And most of the songs I’ve recorded were songs I’ve been playing for years… I don’t typically learn a song a week, although I can if I’m under enough pressure (like an impending gig).
For what it’s worth I did do WIP videos of Dear Prudence and Helplessly Hoping.
As for Hysteria, I’ve gotten some progress on it… still got a ways to go before I can play it at full speed.

In my life: had our first band practice (outdoors in the heat, for fear of transmitting this stupid virus ) in like three months, as we’ve got a gig planned in about a month. We were horribly sloppy I have sooo much practicing to do.

Managed to finally get to a BLM protest today and see some friends there for the first time in months, though I didn’t have a mask so I had to bring a buff which was absolutely SWELTERING in the heat today (relative to British standards of course, it would probably have been a cool day for some of y’all)

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I’m convinced lots of people don’t have a sense of humour. Or think they do, but don’t. Anyone agree?

I had an impulse to start binging Friends for like the fourth time in my life but I decided it wouldn’t be interesting enough. So I’m binging Friends but backwards
Only the fourth time?
My other Mastermind subject after The Beatles would be Friends. I reckon I could recite it. It being the whole 10 seasons.

I had to take a short hiatus from Forumpool for a bit bc I got really busy, but I’m glad to back! (though I will probably be quite sparse for the rest of the summer, unfortunately) I got a summer job, started studying for the SATs, and have been working on personal projects, summer homework and classes, self-care, and college prep (gotta write those essays!!!) For me, summer is just as busy as any day out of the school year.
