So funny story today. Yesterday I was looking for CDs on KSL(a local news station that hosts a sort of Facebook marketplace things for the Utah area). I found a girl who was selling a couple of Taylor Swift CDs that have been on my radar for a bit. She was offering them for $5 a piece, so I jumped on the cheap price and contacted her, and we set a time for the next day after I got off work to meet up and exchange the goods.
So after work today, I drove down to the next town to meet her and we walked up to each other and made the exchange. As we approached each other she gave me the weirdest, most confused look, and then awkwardly walked away after I made the purchase. I realized, as I walked back to my car, that she had no idea who I was when I texted her, and probably expected to be selling them to a young female, but then she was greeted by this 21-year-old man.
I suppose this doesn’t sound too funny or exciting being written out, but I had a bit of a laugh about it on the drive home.

Yeah, a little bit. But, less so than normal, seeing as I couldn’t really enjoy it even if it was that nice here anyway.
Aw, why not?
Well, understandably I’ve had no choice but to stay home, and when I think of enjoying nice sunny weather, I think of driving/walking around town and soaking it all in. There’s only so much enjoyment you can get from looking out the window or even being in your backyard, y’know.

Well it has been a hot second!I’ve recently rekindled my love for the Beatles (wasn’t ever really gone of course) and decided to stop by and say hi! It’s really nice to see familiar faces still active on here
Currently happening in my life: I’m home from university due to the coronavirus crisis and finally finding some time to finish reading Tune In, doing many Jigsaws, and finally learning how to play the piano.
Hope to see you around here often. Who’s your favourite Beatle and what’s your favourite album?

My favourite Beatle is probably Paul, with George as close second. And my favourite album is Revolver , but with Abbey Road as really close second.

It’s ok. I’m assuming your backyard probably is cooler than mine (or, at least, larger and/or more quiet). After all, you live in a more suburban/rural setting, and I’m a city-slicker.

My beard growth has progressed strongly in the past two weeks, and it’s the first time I’ve done this. I’m not shaving until I have to go back to work in the office. I won’t be getting a haircut though.

Same, lol. I made a pact with the other guys in my house that none of us would shave until we saw each other again, so now I have a slight beard, moustache and sideburns.

Considering my summer job forces me to sit outside 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, I’m just treasuring my inside time. In fact, I wish it would rain more here right now– I f-ing love the rain

Hey Beatleva, I remember you! Welcome back

Lazing in my back garden, on my garden furniture, with the sun shining down, slight breeze, birds chirping and music playing. Occasionally i’ll stir and rustle the fire into life.
Some days the lockdown is a delight. Not allowed to go anywhere means no guilt doing nothing at all; I’m doing my bit for all humanity by doing sod all.
Currently David Bowie is singing ‘Changes’.

I confess I already deduced that based on the times you usually come online (also that one time you posted about milk bags in Things We Learned Today)
