Would have kept talking, but I had to cut it short because my dog is shaking in fear due to the fireworks. I’m going to have to take her riding in the car.
Poor thing, this is one of the reasons I’m not a big fan of fireworks. They’re horrible for animals, and to be honest they’re rarely that impressive.
Other than that, happy new decade everyone! I’ve just got back from a party I attended, which was great, and now I’m waiting to be picked up by my friends before going to the lake for a New Year’s Day swim (if I feel up to it)

Offline Happy (Belated) New Year everyone! I have been quite busy celebrating (and sleeping off that celebration) so I haven’t had a chance to log on. I learned how to play “Auld Lang Syne” on ukelele at my friend’s house on New Year’s Eve and had lots of fun there 
Today I have a swim meet (ugh), but in the meantime I’m binge-watching That ’70’s Show while attempting to work on my paper for AP US History. It’s due in 3 days so hopefully I’ll get it done, but I’m not enjoying it so far and I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about 
I’m also planning on getting a record player with my Christmas money, and I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for one that’s decent quality but also not too expensive?

Happy New Year everyone!
I’m back in school again.
Playing the fool again
Winter break went by far too quickly, but I’m glad to be back in theatre class. We’re in the middle of our improv unit and, improv being improv, things have gotten crazy. So far, I’ve had flaming acorns thrown at me by angry chipmunks, witnessed a breaking and entering, and broke one of those black boxes that they have in every theatre classroom while pretending to chop down a tree.

I’ve had to take standardized tests in both my English and math classes, but other than that, the day has gone well. You can see the Yesterday and Today thread for my t-shirt experiment.

Offline 2 days to go until school unfortunately starts back up again and my paper has one sentence written with only 5 paragraphs left to go. Ahhhh, procrastination: my loving, loyal friend that never leaves my side until I completely freak out. 
Also, I decided today that I must stop downloading Beatles-related images onto my phone because I already have 300+ and I should prob save space for like prom pictures or something and music, but I can’t help it there’s just soooo many good pics (and memes ) of my boys. 
I have my first guitar lesson tomorrow and I’m hecka nervous because I’ve spoken to my teacher only once and I’m anxious when it comes to new people/people I’m not familiar with…but I’m also excited.
*and the undertaker drew a heavy sigh* 
I just wanna sit with my dog and listen to the Esher demos.

Offline I got a 97% on my math standardized test, so maybe I won’t have to retake algebra!I had a MATHCOUNTS competition today (a math contest) and I didn’t to that terribly at it! No one on my team placed, but then again, no one from my school ever places. Well, have a great day everyone!

Offline Good job on your standardized test, @TangerineTrees! 
In other math news, I just found out I have another pop quiz on the Unit Circle for pre-calc the day I go back to school As soon as I finish my APUSH paper (ugh probably never gonna happen I still only have two sentences) I’ll have to whip out the chart and study those stupid radians and tangents. 
On the bright side, I learned and can now play the Day Tripper riff on guitar.

AHHHHHH NOT MATHCOUNTS! We’ve done those too but they’re optional and the test isn’t during class time so I’ve never done it. They handed out a practice test once and I got stuck on the first problem so I figured it wasn’t a great idea, lol. Congrats on your test as well!!

Offline I’ve just deleted ‘Live At The BBC ‘ from my iPhone, replacing it all with the chronological bootleg equivalents so it’s neat and concise. I feel dirty and a let-down to all Beatles’ fans.

Yes I am @Timothy I’ve been going back through the DC animated shows on the DC streaming service. If you don’t have it, I definitely recommend it. I’ve also been slowly working through No Mans Land but I can’t go too quickly because I don’t have the full series collected.
