ASJ, you could just run them through the randomizer again and again until you get data you’re happy with- I’ve done that once or twice
And Holey, CONGRATULATIONS AHHHHHH

Haha very awesome Holey! My bandmate is graduating soon and we’ve been picking songs to perform on the occasion; I’d surely offer up your tune as a suggestion, if only a) we could arrange it with around our lineup limitations and b) we weren’t all homeschooled and can’t relate.

Given the lack of cowbell, @The Hole Got Fixed, I quite liked that.
So, the end of school? The good news is that life is all downhill from here on…
Sleep is for the weak, @Beatlebug? No no no, that should be sleep for the week…

Well my first and third were perfect, not too high in the case of first and very low for third class. I also had a nice mix of survivors and people who perished so I was happy.
I like looking up the random person on my list every now and again and seeing what their life was like before they died/how they got on after this ship sank.

Cheers! I considered making the cowbell ridiculously loud… but only Bongo would enjoy that
Life is all downhill, eh? I look forward to it!

Can concur.
I’m also going on holiday next week so I’ll probably be around here a bit less, so that’ll give all of you a nice break from me!

Oh, I certainly concur with that sentiment… but only in the morning, when I don’t want to stop sleeping.

I got in touch today with someone I hadn’t spoken to in almost ten years (nearly half of my life). I moved away when I was 14, so we lost touch. And we apparently have a mutual friend from my college who transferred to hers! Life’s just full of surprises.
All this talk here of school and projects reminds me of my senior independent study I have to complete for my degree–life isn’t stressful at all, not at all.

It’s still been freezing in my part of Australia – it’s almost summer, and only tomorrow will the weather finally warm up here….

^I can’t recall if you’ve told us what you’re studying @QuarryMan but if I can help you in any way send me a PM 🙂
Did a presentation last week for marketing got the full 20/20 percent*, calculated with the rest of my continuous assessment, I’ve got a total of 41/50 percent, module is passed before I even go into sit the exam.
I need to get 60% in the written exam to get a First in it- woooo.
Now wait for all the rest of my exams to go to hell 🙂
*Just to brag some more because this along with German will probably end up being my best exams, the average result other people got was about 15% in their presentation- yeehaw.

I have a 5-page research essay due Monday next which is presently just a skeleton outline and I will be unable to work on it Thursday or Friday because I refuse to compromise my Thanksgiving because it is THE MOST IMPORTANT HOLDAY. So I have to research and write five pages in less than four days.

Have got 2 interviews scheduled for graduate jobs (woohoo) but whoever is scheduling these things needs to get their heads checked. As the name suggests, the jobs are for people in their final year of college i.e. about to graduate, people who are doing their masters i.e. about to graduate or people who took a year out and now want a job (most of them allow a max of 2 years after your degree to apply).
So, what dates are these geniuses suggesting for the interviews? The week before my Semester 1 exams and on the day of one of my exams. There are 12 months in the year, 2 of those months I have exams (December and April), any time else, I’m free. Would they schedule interviews in January? No. Would they schedule interviews in November? No. We must schedule them at the time when the people who are applying for these jobs are doing their exams and will be least prepared for our interviews and may not be able to attend at all due to clashes .
Practically all of the Irish universities and ITs, schedule their exams in December. Only a handful do them in January, so why are they all scheduled in December?!?!?!
I’ve sent an email to the one that’s the week before, 2 days ago, no reply. Rang them this morning, no reply. Have sent an email to the other one today that clashes with my exam (like the interview would run for 4 hours, finish at about 3:00pm, my exam is at 4:30pm-no dice).
It would be hilarious if I just end up not being able to get a job because of the HR people who are incapable of googling “Irish university exam dates”.
