Awesome! That sounds like great fun! A great selection of songs there too. Pretty pleased to see two classic B’52s songs on there as well!
Rock on!!

I’m listening to the Abbey Road Super Deluxe and having a ball. Really just counting down the year now for my Italy holiday, but the days that pass aren’t bad. Weather has been pretty good, so that’s a bonus. Just loving life at the moment, and the Abbey Road music is a large part of that. I saw a comment about the The Beatles somewhere recently, how they made not just the nation happy, but the world. That’s how I’m feeling right now.

So today I tried for the first time to volunteer for Red Cross day for their donation day and to be honest I regret that I didn’t chose to just stand in a train station indstead of walking 5 floors upstairs in 5 apartment buildings by myself and getting less than 10 percent answers which made me quit my task sooner than I was supposed to be. I was aware that I would get mostly no’s, but it surprised how little people here in Copenhagen actually donate, though I guess it’s because it’s so expensive to live there.
I will probably go with a friend or just stand close to a train station next time I volunteer for donations.

I need to print this study guide tonight but my &*^#%&$^#@(T$^& groupmate isn’t answering her texts and she’s not done with her terms yet and I’m tearing my hair out because I KNOW I’m going to have to do her work for her and I’m just so tired.

Inform the person in charge and then go from there. It feels horrible doing so but it’s not right that you are doing the work whilst she scoots by doing nothing, risking a better/good grade, but getting the reward.

All’s well; I only had to do 3 of her terms before she showed up apologetically and finished; I gave her an hour and she was done by the time I came back so it all worked out. Thanks though.

went to my grandparents’ place last night for supper. and my grandfather asked me to help him with a problem he’s had with his computer. and instead of solving the problem, I find that he’s getting 20 notifications from windows 10 per second about an ad for a lot of things. I know immediately that it is a virus, so I ask him if he wants to install the anti-virus I use. and he says sure. I install it, have it run a scan and the scan takes a half-hour to do. in the end, the number of viruses was in the quadruple digits. the program got rid of them lightning fast.

I saw Joker last night, and it was very very good. The performance rivals Ledger’s, in my humble opinion, which is saying something. I also thought it was clever how they placed the main character within the context of what’s going on around him (hope that’s not giving too much away!)

That sounds like it can only end two ways: hilariously or disastrously. Probably both. I would love to see this. (you can pm us or whatever)

Well record shopping in Salt Lake was nice. I bought a real cool album, one of my favorites. I’ll post pictures and stuff in the recently bought albums thread hopefully tonight. I also bought a few 45’s. I’m now looking for more excuses to go down to Salt Lake…
Life has been normal. School, work, and that’s about it. I’ve been down with a cold for the last couple of days, and the temperature was quite low today. I have an essay to finish write from in whole tonight. Don’t worry, it’s only 2-3 pages.
Last night I was rejected by this girl after asking her on a second date. Our first date was a month and a half ago. She was feeling sick halfway through and we had to end the date early, but then she told me she wanted to go on another. Then she proceeded to wait 5-7 days between text replies, and blamed it on being busy with work and school, so I just gave up on her. Then I saw her in person on Friday, and we spoke for like 2 seconds. Then I texted her not too long after the event, and we talked a bit and caught up. Then last night I asked her on out and she said, “Thank you so much for thinking of me! I don’t want to go on any more dates though.”
This having been the 4th rejection in the last 2 1/2 weeks, and the least soft of the 4, I didn’t want to respond with the awkward pride swallowing response(again) and I didn’t want to leave it unresponded, so I did the mature thing and replied “Oh thank goodness! I was afraid you’d say yes.” and left it at that. I kind of regret not mentioning how I am now able to use the money for the date, to put towards buying the Abbey Road 50th Anniversary Box.
That being said, I get paid on Friday. When I get home from school, I am going to pay my tithing and then pay Amazon so they’ll send to my house a big box with a picture on the front of some guys walking across a street(I think there’s some plastic computer circles and a big paper flippy thing in there or something), and in reality that’s better than any date.
