Honestly, though, without the wires I’d probably lose them within seconds. I once managed to lose a pair (WITH wires) while flying in an airplane— without ever leaving my seat. ahdn_paul_01

I’ve got nice big bulky headphones, there’s no way I’d lose them. If I had wireless earbuds, it’d be Hello Goodbye a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

Ohhhhhh so that’s what you meant… I have a pair like that too but it’s the big bulkiness and also the sound-canceling ness that I don’t like a-hard-days-night-paul-3

I get where you’re coming from. I appreciate it unless I’m in a tree, in which case I use earbuds so I can still hear the birds and such.

In my life, I’ve been signing up for my fall classes and I waited too late so there wasn’t a lot left to choose from and ugggghhhhhhhhhh it’s such a Wah Wah a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I don’t know, have no idea why, but I got a very good bottle of Armagnac (a type of Brandy) from AG. Don’t know what I did wrong but much appreciated. ahdn_john_08_gifa-hard-days-night-george-10john-lennon-salute_gif

Not being a Brandy connoisseur, I just picked one that had nice packaging and good reviews. Glad it turned out well.

Recently got back from a festival, which was very fun (lots of awesome funk, folk and jazz music as well as your typical indie bands) except for the extreme amounts of mud thanks to the rain which has been absolutely relentless.

So my school puts on a charity concert every year to help children in war, and my band got in this year (can’t remember if I said this)

So I’m going to be setting up for a large concert all day today, then performing quite late at night… very exciting! (We’re doing Mr Blue Sky and a rock cover of Funkytown)

So naturally, the forum decides to give me 30 unread threads, today of all daysa-hard-days-night-ringo-14

Cheers Bebu!

Haha, I’m playing drums today, and also the lead singer for Blue Sky… so breaking a drumstick is a very real possibility!

@The Hole Got Fixed wow, that’s awesome!

Speaking of breaking drumsticks, in middle school we had an assembly where the jazz band performed and the drummer was so loud he broke a tom-tom ahdn_john_08_gif

Thanks all. I’m in charge of recording it so hopefully we’ll release the live recordings on our next album.

Everyone else has gone to lunch, so this is my world right now:

It’s been great fun rehearsing, hopefully our first performance ever will be just as fun!

Remember how I said I reconnected with an old friend? I’m starting to regret it. I think I’ve realised how we don’t really have anything to talk about given the years it’s been, and talking via email felt forced…at least to me. I didn’t reply to one email for about two days, and it’s been three for them now. Kinda depressing actually. If they don’t reply in another day or so I’ll forget about it completely. I think some people are happy to hear from you, but that’s it. They’ve moved on and you don’t factor into their life. I think this will serve as a good reminder for me going forward.

No need to regret it, @Timothy, you live and learn. Not every relationship has to blossom into permanence — I’ve had to learn that the hard way, I tend to be a little clingy in my friendships.

So I went to the dentist for the first time in 3 years and I’m impressed I didn’t have any sign of holes in my teeth despite having only recently taken care of all of my teeth after seeing all the black spots. I’ve always wondered what makes people scared of going to the dentist. Is it the painful sting part or the cleaning part? Even though I have never been afraid of the dentist, I’ve always hated the cleaning part as I always felt like I was about to drown.

Most people I’ve spoken to aren’t all that scared of the dentist, but I am curious where it originated. Did dentists used to be much deadlier?
