Bambi Kino is there indeed, all of the buildings are still there bar one not important at all one, it must have been demolished a few months ago because there’s construction going on but no physical building that I could see.
I’ll post the photos when I get home because as you all know I hate typing comments on my phone.

Very true. 
Driving on the freeway is less terrifying than driving on windy two-lane highways that have a speed limit over 45, though, in my experience at least. And all of these pale in comparison to driving through a busy suburban/urban sprawl.

Offline Hello again, everyone. I am not dead, as it turns out.
My family and I went on a less-than-epic road-trip-thing to see my parents’ friends who live a couple of states over in the middle of nowhere. We haven’t been to see them for a very long time, and I made an incorrect assumption that they had working WiFi. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused in the biscuit game or conversations I should’ve taken part in.
On a similar note, I will be leaving the day after tomorrow to see my grandparents, and their internet is not the best, so I have no idea whether I will be present for that week either.

I’ve been trying to coax my parents into a trip to England and perhaps Germany during the summer vacation after I graduate next year. So far they’re not opposed to the idea and think it would be nice, however I’m not entirely sure what our plans are going to be yet. Still stashing away some of my work money just in case, though.

Offline I’ve got a hotel which has a pool booked in Aberdeen for a good few nights in the not too distant future. For once I will have no laptop with me so will be a very tuned out time hopefully as I get bored with my phone after not too long.
I do this every so often to get my head cleared. Highly enjoyable and beneficial.

There is an Aberdeen in Scotland. I am a fan of Aberdeen Football Club and go to as many games as possible, generally away as I live on the Ayrshire coast, but I also work every alternate weekend so it can prove difficult.

Offline So I’m going on a two month hiatus.
I have to admit the reason for my frequent absences these last few weeks is because for the first time in my three years of being here I’ve been beginning to feel burnt out about coming on here and recently, it’s got to the point where there hasn’t been any Beatles discussions or events I truly feel interested in enough to look into – I honestly don’t even care about this new Yesterday movie.
This doesn’t mean I don’t like The Beatles anymore, but I have decided as this is my summer holiday period, I would like to get a little more productive, meaning I’m going to be taking a break from the forum (and also discord) for a little while to focus more on my personal life as well as my musical projects and skills. I also want to use this opportunity to take a break from The Beatles’ music and go on a personal journey on where I can take time to branch out into different artists and genres and find inspiration in doing so. I’m 100% confident my interest in The Beatles will gradually rebuild itself over this time, and a lot of the new music I will take in will eventually lead me back to them somehow. 
I probably won’t be back for good until sometime in September. However, I will try to make a quick check in and post for Ringo’s birthday and then my own birthday, but apart from then I won’t be posting in any threads. If anybody wants to chat to me in this time regarding what and how I’m doing, I’ll happily still respond to your PMs, so in a way I won’t be too gone. Please do send my welcome back wishes to WSC if he has returned before I do.
Until then, I don’t really know what else to say. See you all soon!
