The penalty was highly questionable. The trouble with this new definition of handball. Very arbitrary. Very cruel. Very cool despatch of the shot by Parris though. Very pleased when White slammed it into the bottom left corner. Scotland are impressive and threatening though. 45+ minutes to go.
Penalty was correct according to the new rules but it’s a stupid rule which is clearly going to bring chaos in many games, and more goals. Scotland were decent until the penalty but have been poor since. Don’t seem to have any idea whether we should press or stand off and can’t keep the ball. Pretty much the same as the men’s team when they play.

Doesn’t cancel out the fact that it broke us for the remainder of the half whilst spurring on England and we only got going after 55 minutes. Have to learn how to cope with such setbacks and push on but the last half hour or so was more impressive and will hopefully lead to qualifying to the later rounds.

That’s so weird
I got this hideous bout of hayfever on Saturday, I got up – not a problem. About 10AM, my nose started running uncontrollably, and now I’ve got what is bordering on a cold. Perhaps the dust you stirred up has come over here?

Offline I have my chemistry final in forty-five minutes. I studied, I prepared, I was totally ready to go last night. And then I went to bed. And I did not sleep. At all. Not one wink. So now I’m in a whole new kind of hell, and instead of hoping for an A on this final, but now I’ll be lucky just to pass the fecking class.
Also, word of warning— every single post I make today with be PWT.

Offline Good luck, @50yearslate! I can’t tell you how many times something similar has happened to me.
I just got back from visiting family off in the lands of no WiFi, while listening to my brother constantly scream, “Johnny Julter power plunger!” over and over. (For the record, I have no clue what a “power plunger” is, and I don’t think he does either. I’m also not totally sure I want to).

He still hasn’t put the results in, the waiting is torture, hopefully he’ll do that this afternoon– but knowing him he’ll wait to grade the free-response until the night before grades are due and I’ll have to wait WEEKS until my report card comes to know how I did. 
In other news, I just finished my math final, and I think (I hope) it went much better. So no more math or chem for two whole months, yay!
