Offline I saw a beautiful woman on the bus this morning, HOLDING A BEATLES BAG. She got on and was sitting about five seats away from me. I have this internal torment of this happening on public transport. How the hell do you approach a stranger and make something of it, WITHOUT coming off as a weirdo? Really difficult, especially if they’re away from you. I wanted to say “love your bag, I’m a big Beatles fan” as an icebreaker, but I didn’t get the chance. Oh well.

Tomorrow is the college entrance exam day. What can I do with the half a day left? Just go through the books again, though I’m not sure if that helps. Anything Beatley to do? I’m doing a Beatles album marathon when reading, and I plan to wear a Beatles shirt tomorrow (yeah, I finally got one). Hope that slightly comforts me.

Offline A great many thanks to all you people! Actually, em, today it went just normally I guess. The math paper was unexpectedly difficult. I hope my grades will be OK. There’s still one day left and I will take liberal arts and English exams. Then I’ll be free and come back to normal posting…

Scotland got embarrassed 6-0 last time the two teams met. Our first ever World Cup game for the women (the men haven’t qualified for a major tournament since 1608) so yoo hoo. I never go against Scotland so we will win 7-0 and be given England as a prize.

Offline The penalty was highly questionable. The trouble with this new definition of handball. Very arbitrary. Very cruel. Very cool despatch of the shot by Parris though. Very pleased when White slammed it into the bottom left corner. Scotland are impressive and threatening though. 45+ minutes to go.
