Woah! Amazing collection @Timothy. That batarang is so cool. From looking at your shelf, the next books I need to get are probably The Superman/Batman series as well as the No Man’s Land collection. I’m on the lookout for The Cult as well.
I see you also have a bit of a James Bond collection. I too am a huge fan of the 007 series. Very cool how we share the same taste for action and adventure.

Thanks @sir walter raleigh. My Bond collection is quite substantial. I went through a Superman phase a couple years back and that’s represented in the comics you see there. He’s an awesome character in the comics, less so in the films. If I could recommend just one it’d be All Star Superman, which is actually one of the best graphic novels of any character.
I also recommend Kingdom Come. Amazing art, good story and thought provoking.
As an aside, Robert Pattinson has been cast as the new Bat. Good choice, in my opinion. He’s young, good looking and well known enough to draw a crowd. I can see him navigating the bachelor and businessman sides of the character well. We all know how Michael Keaton was mocked for being Mr Mom, so Rob’s Twilight background means nothing to me.
Rumours: A dozen villain appearances, Robin, noir elements and an emphasis on detective work. I’m in!

@Timothy i’ll be on the lookout for all star superman. Agreed on Pattinson. He’s got what it takes to make a great Bruce Wayne, and he’s definitely got the chin the be Batman. My real hope is that they return to the deep Conroy esqe Batman voice as opposed to the growly Christian Bale or the electro Ben Affleck. I’m also curious to see which suit they decide on

So I have a charity concert gig to do later today THIS IS IT — after weeks of hard work with the lads in the band, the big day is here! I’m pretty confident that we’ll rock pretty hard.

Does your band do original songs as well?

That sounds like a damn fine setlist. Finishing on Rock Lobster… what an ending!
My band auditioned for our school’s charity variety rock concert on Friday – time will tell if we get in (I reckon we will purely for the fact that one of our members is playing a keytar…)

Good luck!
Although high school isn’t gone forever if you become a high school teacher… or you have kids that go through high school.

Nah – we do a few originals, whereas apparently Bebu’s band doesn’t yet.
And of course RN’s point as well…

Apparently, someone just ran a stolen car into the creek behind our house. It caught on fire, and there was a ton of smoke and sirens and people yelling. Luckily, it doesn’t seem that anyone was hurt, but no one is sure. It freaked everyone out quite a bit, though.
