Tomorrow is Friday, and my week is effectively over already, then it’s the weekend. Going to the soccer grand final on Sunday, expecting a big crowd. Looking forward to it. And a big sleep in on both days.

My friends and I just spent an hour running around in the rain looking for snails and eating cherry plums. I found a particularly magnificent snail and named it Eppy; I tried to convince my friend to name his Walry, but he chose Rubister instead. The only downside is that my hands are colder than they’re ever been– it took me three times as long as it should have to type this. But it was worth it ahdn_john_08_gif

he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Which reminds me, the other day we had a fairly severe, albeit brief, thunderstorm in which a good deal of hail also came down, ranging in size from marble to plum. After the rain stopped my sister and I were running about the yard picking up hailstones and throwing them around like little kids (actually I was throwing them at the bricks and watching them smash, being more of a little kid than my kid sister was a-hard-days-night-john-6). It was lovely. a-hard-days-night-george-9

That does sound fun. It’s been too long since we had hail here, and it’s never bigger than a marble. Last time it hailed we were in the middle of French class and the entire class rushed to the window to watch, it was fabulous ahdn_john_08_gif

I was going to go into school today to get some revision done in a setting other than my bedroom, but there was an accident on the motorway this morning so town is absolutely full up with traffic, meaning it’ll take me aaaages to get there if I do paul-mccartney

I know I’m pretty late, but good luck on your driving lesson and any more you have in the future @50yearslate a-hard-days-night-john-6.

I’m pretty glad that summer’s coming and it’s finally warming up! I spent today on my bike blasting Help ! to the confusion of anyone I passed. There was a lot of pollen (and I’m known for having the worst allergies) but it didn’t bother me as much today. I’m probably going to spend the rest of the day eating back all the calories I might have possibly burned and watching Help ! or something since I just listened to the soundtrack.

Hope everyone’s day is going well!a-hard-days-night-george-9
