In the grand scheme of things, neither of our (homework-related) problems are really that bad– but you can’t think about that or you’ll start to feel guilty for every negative emotion you experience :/
Nah, I just put it into perspective and move on… is that just me?
I’m really sorry that you’re underfed, but like you heard me said(????? dat grammar tho)… not guilty…

Idk, but it sounds like a better way of dealing with your problems than what I do.

Yeh, probably. Moving on is kinda my specialty, to the point of not worrying about things enough.
But when it comes to things you can’t change…
Like you heard

Perhaps someday I will mature enough to become more like you. Maybe if I’m lucky…

I’ve always been like this. Like I said, I have the opposite problem, I get too complacent at times, but mostly it’s a beneficial habit.
That having been said, you can most certainly work to improve your letting-go-ability*. Don’t come to me for advice, though, I won’t be able to help you with it ’cause I amn’t familiar enough with the subject.

Just some little happy Beatley items making their way across the Atlantic. I’ll explain one of them once you open the cute & Beatley bubble-wrap envelope. You can decide if you want to take the item out of its wrapper. Hummmmm…. mystery.

I feel like that would be a hilarious signature… especially during the week when it would be totally out of context.
@Starr Shine?, if you ever make another BB video, I need you to include Timothy drifting by saying ‘…It’s the WEEKEND!’ at some point.

In the spirit of John speaking his mind, I’m writing to say I’m feeling good. My hair is longer now, my face is perfectly clear (no blemishes, just had a shave and I have no sunburn at all). I have longer nails (I like this, and longer hair, because it makes me feel more alive and in touch with nature somehow – maybe because it’s growing something?). The weather has been nice too. Sun’s out, a gentle wind blowing. If I was a song right now it would be Mother Nature’s Son.

Going to a ceilidh (a traditional Gaelic dancing event to Scottish/Irish folk music) tonight, I’m very excited!

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

One of my friends once went to Ireland with her grandparents and while they were in some sort of pub (i think it was a pub but i could be wrong) some people started playing music and they made her come up onstage and dance. She described it as her stepping onto the stage and being flung from person to person and having NO IDEA what was going on. Sounds dizzying to me.

Sounds about right and it probably was a pub, the only other place you get traditional music is at parades.
It’s become my party trick in Germany now though, everybody wants to see me Irish dance when I’m actually pretty crap at it. We had lessons in primary school for it but I never really liked it. Trad music does my head in anyways, I can listen to it for about 10 minutes and then I have to get out. I was at a drama competition recently, and there was a musical interlude of about 20 minutes where a group was dancing and playing trad and I wanted to leave after about 5 minutes but I had to wait for the results (I did not win).
