I had a panic attack and passed out today…
Not to worry, I’m feeling much better now. I came out to a couple of my close friends lately, and it’s been a big weight (or mass?) off my shoulders, but the nerves from that seem to have brought back my old, more anxious temperament. On the plus side, this has motivated me to go running again and reinvigorate my love of the Beatles, both of which cheer me up to no end Keep moving forward.

sir walter raleigh, SgtPeppersBulldog, Beatlebug, WeepingAtlasCedarsI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Sometimes I wonder if there are situations in existence that Beatles music wouldn’t improve.
Love one another.

Thank you, @50yearslate If there are any such situations, I’ve certainly never been in one. Rubber Soul has to be the most welcoming album I’ve ever heard, it’s like a warm hug.

Yes!!! When I listened to O&O a few days ago, I eased my crushing guilt by listening to Rubber Soul .

Is O&O short for Odyssey and Oracle? Great album if so, no need to be guilty about listening to it Still, I’d take Rubber Soul over it any day of the week.

Me too. Then again I’d take MMT over O&O, or YS over O&O, because O&O is not Beatles and I have something wrong with me.
Sometimes I listen to Rubber Soul and I think, “I am a silly fool. Of course this is my favorite album. It’s too amazing for this world.” Then I’ll listen to Revolver /Help /AHDN and be like “oh wait never mind. I could never choose one over the others.”

Glad to hear you’re feeling better and that the Beatles helped being you back up when you were down.
Welcome to the (honestly now quite disproportionately large) club here, @QuarryMan

@TheWalrusWasBrian we’re here. Don’t listen to Yer Blues
I had a wonderful day out around the city with @Thommo today. Still in shock at the coincidence of two people with such similar interests joining a forum who live so close to one another.

that’s life.
I’m sorry you feel like that’s normal. I’m always here for you as are the rest of us here. Yes ups and downs are a part of growing up but if you start to feel like you’re falling it can be really difficult to start feeling better. Just know that you can make things better for yourself, even if it feels like other people you know aren’t helping you out at all.

I’m in Sydney now. Home soil. Only been here once before, when I was about 15 or so. I’m here for three days. After that, I’ll be ready to go home. I then will have one week before work begins again. So I’ll be sleeping in a lot in that week.

I feel you Walrian, I’ve been down that road before and i still deal with a good bit of depression. I’d recommend talking with your friends about it.
Whatever you do, please don’t actually do it.

I keep going to thank posts and then I remember I can’t do it anymore… this will take some getting used to…
We will have to write more posts with good responses to take the place of the thanks option.
