Let’s build a bagel pantry in the BB house especially for Walrian!
If anybody’s curious, there’s nothing really particularly going on with me ATM. Have been branching out listening wise by trying to get into CCR, Glenn Campbell and Joni Mitchell.

I just got into Glen Campbell. He’s really a really underrated guitar player, but also contains the ultimate showman’s package. I was thrilled to discover he was a part of the Wrecking Crew. What a shame I was turned on to him after his death.

Me too. You, swr, will be glad to know I got into him from his Beach Boys connections (replacing Brian on stage in ’65 before Bruce joined, playing guitar on several Pet Sounds tracks as part of The Wrecking Crew and appearing on Al’s solo album a few years back!)

Oops. I was leaving the reference desk in such a hurry to make sure I got to my office before the automatic lock clicks on, I forgot to include the link.
I see you’ve found our happy BB house.

Y’all kids makin’ me feel old. (@AppleScruffJunior I now have sympathy for you about the period I was springing up on the forum as a wee’un.) I was a year old when he died, and had no idea of anything (of course).

We just had an hour-long “motivational rally” with a motivational speaker, a motivational rapper (apparently this exists), and a not-very-good band. The mic was crap, and I couldn’t hear a word anyone said, so I basically sat in the very crowded bleachers (I’m claustrophobic so that was extra fun) listening to white noise mixed with static for an hour. Fun time, fun times. And to think people get nostalgic for their high school days!

I had one of those last year. Me and a group of friends yelled insults at some bike stunt dudes the whole time.

We would be murdered alive if we did that. All the teachers and the principal were sitting in this line of chairs and the rapper would dance around and rap in their faces and they would kind of smile in a disturbed way and scoot their chairs back a little. I mean rallies are normally dumb but not THIS dumb.

It was kind of funny though because the seniors were all dancing and one of them leaned out of the bleachers to fist-bump the rapper and they looked so ridiculous. I was laughing so hard. But besides that the rally was a total waste of time.

Looks like I missed the trivial pursuit discussion. I haven’t been on the forum in a while.I almost never have anyone to play that game with.
ME. I’d play it every day if I could, but the only person who’s ever willing to play is my dad, and even then he only wants to play like once a month. And he beats me every time.

I wonder if we could find a way to play it here on the forum.

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe if I set up the game board and took pictures to show where everyone’s pieces were? And I posted the questions? Although how would we do the dice…
Love one another.
