Being at college has been pretty okay for the first week. The first day, I was absolutely baffled where everything is and what was going on, but two days on, I sort of have a better understanding.
We got quite a lot of time to play about with the instruments and in the recording studio, although my only contribution so far has been playing rhythm guitar on an Epiphone Les Paul (!) in the back of someone’s rap track on Logic. When I got to play about with Logic myself, I immediately went straight onto Vintage Mellotron and was messing around with that for a while. 
And best of all, because college only lasts 3 days, now I’m off for 4 days! It’s not until next week that I start revising for the maths resit properly, so it isn’t all fun and games.

Offline I’ve decided I’m going to quit my degree apprenticeship. I just don’t care enough about Chemistry to study it for the next 5 years of my life. I’d rather go to uni for 3 years and study something I’m actually interested in.
I’ve been thinking a lot about uni recently. Have come up with the decision to work for a year, think about courses that I would possibly enjoy, and then start applying next year.

Offline Everything’s fine and we have power too — according to our neighbour, it was only out for a short while, about a day. Most of the damage was further to the southeast/not on high ground.
