HEYYYY @MrMoonlight
I checked out your music and got some of my friends to, as well. We liked it.

Aw thank you! I’ve got a new album out (well, in January) and I’m working on my next already!
I have to admit, visiting here has mostly slipped my mind over the past few years as I’ve expanded my horizons in terms of music, but the Beatles still hold a place in my heart as the whole reason I got into music. They still do have an impact on my own stuff (I got an Epiphone Casino last year because of them and it remains my favourite guitar), I’ve just had a hell of a lot happening and I’m a completely different person now to who I was back when I first joined here, in all the best ways possible.
I thought I’d stop by because I was incidentally looking for the Hums Wild mix of Across The Universe and stumbled upon the article for it! It was certainly a nostalgia trip.

Welcome back @MrMoonlight!!!
I got over a bout of viral gastro yesterday, and now I think I’m coming down with something again. Ugh it’ll be a long, cold, lonely winter…

If you were the person back then now you won’t be the person you are later.
Good to hear life is good.
I am enjoying two days of doing nothing before I work six out of seven (can’t remember when I last had two full days off work in a row). After that, I have a whole week off work and I’m booked to go far away close at hand over waters and seas for a couple of nights.

After having spent the majority of the last I lost count of how many months obsessed with David Bowie, I have decided to commence a Beatlethon.
(I’ll probably get him back out soon, though. Ashes to ashes, funk to funky, we know I’m a Bowie junkie… )

Uhhh, I’ve already relapsed.

I have my final exam on Friday and then 11 weeks (!) off before I start college. Fingers crossed the majority of my results are passes!

Here’s to a suite of ‘A’s, @SgtPeppersBulldog and I’m sure you’ll do it.
Actually, the grades have been numbers here in the UK since last year. Believe it or the not, the highest grade there is a… 9! (But I don’t think I’ll be getting grades that high. The pass grade for most of my subjects is a 4, which hey, could still represent !)

Twisted my ankle Sunday night which has left me hopping around the flat and unable to get out. My weak right ankle which I have lots of problems with. Starting to be able to put it down again, but still more hopping than walking.
Friend just did some shopping for me, including getting me an interweb top-up voucher, so I’m back up and running (well, not actually running! ) after running out of credit early hours of Monday.
A few days offline and Nasty is tut-tutting at things that have been missed. No WSC weekly, even though somebody is meant to post it if there’s a problem, and while questions have been asked about Paul’s FB, no real follow-up to his posts since, nor has anyone (from what I can see) posted the new song he performed at the Philharmonic Pub in Liverpool last Saturday.
Seems there’s some catching up to do. Tut-tut!

I was going to post the WSC today if you didn’t.
Get busy updating us on what we’ve missed. Glad your friend stepped in to help us out.

Every time I submit an essay/paper I always get cripplingly nervous that there’s some obvious mistake that I’ve failed to correct before I submitted it. This is immediately proceeded by a sense of elation as I realise I no longer have to worry about the assignment any longer.

I was a journalist for four years and that feeling never left me.

Well, I may have lost the case for ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and been forced to rule out ‘”Heroes”‘ and ‘Aladdin Sane’ due to lineup constraints, but I managed, despite intense competition, to convince the lads to play ‘I Should Have Known Better ‘.

Okay, I’m back on here for good now. No need to worry about me being absent anymore! The last test was quick today. We finished at 10:15(am)-ish and I was home before 10:30. I never have to set foot in secondary school ever again – except for the one day in August to collect my results.
