In a little bit of pain myself as a tooth just broke, about 50% of it gone on a vertical diagonal. Appears to have just missed exposing the nerve but still fecking painful. Have to hope I can get dentist appointment tomorrow ’cause I could be screaming by the morning, and spending a weekend on the strongest painkillers I can get if no appointment to pull out the remaining part of tooth.

I have a horrid head cold. As Faculty Senate chair, I am supposed to sit on the platform during graduation, but this with this cold I have to pass. The incoming chair is going to take my place. The one time in my life I get to sit on the platform during graduation, and I can’t. Bummer.

Offline Against all odds, it turned out to be benign. There’s still a small chance that it could come back as malignant after lab testing, but it’s benign for all intents and purposes. Still had half the thyroid removed due to the size of the growth. Would write more, but am hopped up on painkillers at the moment and even this took way longer than it should’ve.

Offline Great to hear, @Necko !
I’ve had a really nice couple of days, since it’s been such nice weather. I had a driving lesson this morning, my 4th or 5th I think, in which I drove into my town and did some manoeuvres I hadn’t done before. I’m also going to a music festival on sunday.
