Hope you feel better soon, WeepyC! 
My school have well (silver) hammered (but I’m not dead) the fact into my head that tests are too important not to miss, even if you’re ill! 
For once, it’s actually not been that bad of a first week back at school from the Easter holidays, even though somehow it’s blazing hot here when it was only snowing about two months back
. I had to make a speech in front of my class for my English exams, which I personally felt went a lot better than my French, and I’ve also set myself two Beatley challenges: to learn the riff to Day Tripper on guitar and learn The Long And Winding Road on keyboard (the latter being the trickiest, because I ‘m only just trying to teach myself from sheet music, and I’ve worked out on the sheet music I’m using it’s in the key of F rather than the original D#/Eb).

I’m sure your French went better than you think – exams work with reverse psychology sometimes.
I definitely think I did worse in the French one, mainly because I wasn’t allowed what I’d wrote down in the exam room, but for the English one, I was allowed my final word document I did the day before. But hey, the French one was a mock, so perhaps I shouldn’t doubt it as much, as there might be a stroke of luck before the real one.

It reached 29.1C (84.38F) yesterday. That’s not bad for a UK summer, and the hottest April day since 1949.
Average maximum April temperature is 11.4C (52.52F), so definitely a bit of a heatwave.
