Offline I saw the otolaryngologist today. I will, in fact, be getting part of my thyroid removed. The chances of it being cancer have been upgraded to ninety percent.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

@Necko I’m so sorry to hear it’s almost definitely cancer. Thankfully they’ve caught it early, and hopefully they’ll remove it completely before it spreads.

Offline Not the best news, @Necko, but it could be worse. I won’t be patronising about it as I know just how scary that news can be, though mine was about the opposite end.
The most important thing is to keep positive, hard as that may be. You’ve got a good family to support you, and friends, as well as everyone here. It sounds as if it’s been caught relatively early, and it’s a treatable cancer – even if part of your thyroid has to go.
You, me, and Keith Richards will be the cockroaches to survive it all!

Offline I just saw Wes Anderson’s new movie Isle of Dogs. Very good. My favorite movie ever is Fantastic Mr. Fox. It wasn’t that good, but I did enjoy the cameo from Yoko.
