Please do @Starr Shine?! We should be fine as long as it isn’t too loud. At least you can’t say you didn’t warn us

You’re getting a good start on the guitar @Starr Shine? although the volume was way too loud and the audio clipped.
My computer didn’t register my microphone when I plugged it in, the guitar is in despret need of new strings, I didn’t tune the guitar at all after months of it lying around and I only knew one chord.
Tune in next time in like several months from now where I play my second chord.

Speaking of essays, I just spent a couple hours writing up some pointless cheese (which was almost in fanfiction territory, except it’s fictionalised versions of real people in an alternate universe in the future, and it’s set on Mars) when I should have been doing lessons, interacting with humans, or at the very least, editing my and @Martha’s essay.
I had to get it out of my system, though… and it was good to stretch the old fiction-writing muscles (haven’t written anything creatively besides correspondence and comics in forever). We’ll have that essay up soon, I promise!

In a social setting and someone misquoting Paul to the point of total misrepresentation. Totally taking what he said out of context and twisting it all into apparent truth to suit their own preference. Cue in depth heated debate. I’m not having that.

I’m still here for now. I just wish there was less ignorance and fewer annoying people in the world. Thanks for being a person whose posts I enjoy reading.

Aww, I’m honoured to hear that. I always appreciate your point of view, so I wouldn’t like to miss you. And I agree with you…
In my life: earlier I went for a nice long rambly walk, as I like to do; anyway, it started raining before I was a quarter-way through. I didn’t turn around — what would be the point, I’d just get wet going back, and I don’t mind the rain anyway — I just kept going. It started coming down a bit harder, more of a drizzle now than a mist, my fringe started getting damp and my jeans soggy; eventually, my whole moptop was wet, my fringe was dripping water down my nose, my sleeves were sticking to my arms, and I was cheerfully walking through the rain singing ‘Mamunia‘, like a Fool In The Rain.
The people driving by in their warm, waterproof cars probably thought I was absolutely insane.
It was good fun!

If anybody’s wondering, the cold has completely reduced to just the throat. I have coughing fits and my voice becomes a lot more croakier at times, but pushing that aside, 4 DAYS UNTIL CRIMBLE!

Here’s hoping that you get better completely before Crimble, @SgtPeppersBulldog!
I just cooked a massive batch of mini mince pies. I have no idea how many there are, but I filled them up with too much mince, and the mince may or may not have leaked all over the tray…

Hopefully, your voice decides to join you again before Xmas, Peppdog!
I’ve had a huge fight about my approaching post-school future with my parents last weekend and as a consequence, I kind of ran away from home to live with a friend for a couple of days. Back when I made the decision to go it seemed all very logical, I just thought some distance would give all of us the chance to calm down and we’d have the opportunity to discuss the topic reasonably afterwards. But now that I’m sitting in my room again for half a day now, ignored by everyone in the house, not an inch closer to a compromise and having ruined both the Christmas atmosphere and my little brother’s birthday, I just wonder how I could have been that stupid. And I’m very ashamed of myself.
Additionally, I found out that someone I thought I got along well with, regularly amuses my classmates with exclusive anecdotes about my weirdness behind my back. I must admit this all has dragged me down a bit but a nice mixture of listening to SFF on repeat, playing the guitar, and Revolver worked wonders.

Dark Overlord, BeatlebugNot once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's
