@Mr. Kite, that picture hanging on the ceiling above your bed should produce some dreams for you to share in the dreams thread…or the Fifty Shades thread!

@Mr. Kite, I don’t know of a Pattie poster site. But, she is worth feeling a little uncomfortable for to get some blow-up prints.

@Mr. Kite, which one will you hang on the ceiling over your bed? I’m thinking the 48×36 of this one
@Linde, if your parents kick your sister out, where will she go? Does your grandmother live alone? If so, would she consider moving into a care home? Out of curiosity, how long did high tea take? What all did they serve? I’ve been looking into having high tea at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
She’ll have to sort that out herself. She can go look for a dorm. When you go to college or university here, you get a student funding every month. When you have moved out you can get an extra bit of that. She has a job. She just has to save it up and she’ll be fine. She could have had more than enough, hadn’t she wasted it on other stuff. Yes, my grandma lives alone. She is still pretty sharp for a 85 year old, but you can see she’s forgetting stuff and behaving a bit weird. She doesn’t see it herself, and thinks she’s still young and healthy. When we mention other women that live in her appartment building, she always goes on about ”those old senile tarts”. while most of them are younger than she is. She has a cleaner and a nurse coming over and my mom sorts out her medication and we do her groceries, and she hates that already. She has always said that if she had to sit in a wheelchair, or move into a care home, she would want us to kill her or she’d kill herself.
We had that high tea thing at 1 pm instead of in the afternoon, because a friend of mine had to work at 4.30. It didn’t take that long, because soon enough we were all stuffed. We just stayed around and chatted for a bit. Loads to talk about, we all live in different sides of the country and one of them lives in Norway, so we don’t see each other that often. We baked things ourselves. We just kind of made or got stuff from the supermarket and had tons of different flavours of tea. We had scones, a fruit salad, mini kozakken (you have to Google kozakken, it’s typically Dutch I think), mini calzones, muffins, and I had bought mini sausage rolls that morning because I didn’t have the time to bake something. I intended to make muffins, but our mixer was broken. It wasn’t really a conventional high tea, but we all didn’t have enough time to bake stuff. We’ve done high teas quite a lot, but usually we had a lot more spare time so we also had more conventional high tea stuff. I’ve only had a high tea at a restaurant once, but I prefer going to someone’s house and having made your own stuff. It’s too much fun.

Sorry, I couldn’t reply earlier, school has been rough this week.
Anyways, to answer some of your questions. No, I have not seen her since and probably will never see her again. I did text her again a week afterwards but she did not reply then either. It is not like her to not reply within in 2-3 days, maybe she lost her phone? She was probably the nicest person at my school, and would always go out of her way to say hi to me every day. We talked to each other in class a lot, and one time she took my jacket and started wearing it. I remember one time on a field trip, she held my hand but then it got awkward as her mom and the teacher were there. The last time I saw her was June 4, and she hugged me. She was the only thing that made last year bearable.
Look its a thingy! A fiendish thingy!

@UnidentifiedFiendishThingy, like Zig said, don’t hide your love away. There will be times with some girls/women/ladies when the feelings will be mutual. We look forward to hearing about your upcoming romantic adventures. If you’ve read this thread, you know we are always watching for @Linde and @ScrambledEggs tales of adventure. I hope others will tell their stories when they have one. We all hope the best for each other.

@unidentifiedfeindishthingy Those are a lot of signs that she liked you too, and if you haven’t seen her, maybe there is a legitimate reason for her not answering.

I always left my course work to the very last time, i could never sit there with a week to go and get it done, so i’d be like you @She_is_leaving_home. Congratulations on the job and good luck in saving up for Beatlesfest, it will be a blast but saving is hard.
