It’s Leaving Cert (i.e. final exams similar to A-Levels) Results’ Day here on the Emerald Isle. I’ve been getting results back from some of my students who all did really well and I’m so proud of them. One of my boys got an A1/A+/A* in French, another who really struggled with German and did Ordinary Level just hoping he could pass got between 60%-69%, which is 20%-30% over a pass!

Offline Just so people don’t think I’m dead or anything, I have decided to take a break from the forum for a couple of weeks, apart from posting the poll results.
Feeling very frustrated with certain things at the moment, very angry, made worse by problems in my own life, and it’s best I zip it for a while to avoid saying things I shouldn’t. I’ll be back by September though, and will continue looking in, but I need to look after myself right now, get my head back in a better place.

My little Peugey (my car) decided to break down on me as I was driving home. I was luckily only a minute’s walk away from my house but I turned the corner and could just feel the car slowing down and stuttering so I pulled in and about 3 seconds later he died.
It was very tragic as I really do love that car, and I hope he can get back on the road (that and I just dropped 600 quid on car tax for the year so welp).
