I wish this place was my school canteen! 
Anyways, I’ve been going to bed at 2 – 3am, and not waking up until half 11 for almost 5 days now. I should be getting up early on Saturday though because there might possibly be a boot sale on that morning.

Our band’s got an LP, but it’s pretty lame. You probably don’t want to hear it.Silly Girl’s band sounds more professional.
HA! What a laugh the lads will have when I tell them this… you really ought to sit in on one of our practises, we are absurd. It takes us five minutes to decide on a song to play because at least two of us will be showing off and playing some random riff at any given time, and as for people playing while someone’s trying to tune — 
And our drummer… well, let’s say we’re called the Offbeats for a reason… 
We have loads of fun, though, and that’s all that really matters for us at this point. 
Very cool album art, by the way! I’ll be sure to pimp it here as hard as I can if I ever am involved with any LP-dropping.

I also like the Hunchback Of Notre Dame song! I hope you don’t mind me asking @The Hole Got Fixed, but apart from the experimental tag, what other sort of genre is the group going for? I personally think it fits nicely between Indie and punk (with added organ) !

Well, we are trying to get a bit of pop, with lots of experimental and a touch of indie, @SgtPeppersBulldog. (With no singing ability, you mean!)
Edit: thanks SG! Our band can sometimes take half an hour to decide on a song – though that’s rare. I’d love to hear some of The Offbeats!

Offline It’s been a tiring week.
Dropped something on my foot on Monday, bruising it
My closet tried to eat me Tuesday night – bruised hip and shoulder
Had a stomach bug issue Thursday morning aggraved by sinus issues
Every muscle from the waist down feels like I pulled it somehow
I am going to sleep it off soon with Benadryl.
I’m so done lol
Looking forward to Getting Better ^^

Offline That’s sad to hear, i hope everything gets better soon.
Anyways, I’ve been playing piano and i’m not as good at it as i thought i was. I’ve been trying to play this jazz piece i made up myself on guitar but since i’m not that good at piano, it’s hard to do it properly.

Thanks! I’m glad you think I’m better than an idiot at drumming!Did any song stand out, out of interest?
On first listen I would say the covers as they are well known songs but I think you did well on We Will Rock You and Imagine .
I thought that Demons song was quite weird/interesting. I will need to listen to it again but you guys should keep practicing and writing and see how far you go on the next album.

Offline I look forward to hearing what Beatles songs you do. So we will have to wait a while until we get the second album?
I wonder what other Beatle Biblers have made music that is available online. It might be worth starting a separate thread for this.
I am in the very early stages of recording some songs with my friend. The songs are simple and not very serious but it’s just a matter of getting the time to record the songs.

Offline I hope we’re not getting too off topic here but i noticed that in an earlier post that you said that you were the only person who played guitar in your band but you were the drummer. Does that mean that you’ll be playing all of the guitar and drums on this new album.

I’ll do it and yeah I will let you know. I will probably post it on the forums to share it around but that might still be a while off yet but I will aim for the end of this year/early next year.

Offline Feeling much better today after a good sleep and some coffee. Also off tomorrow and Sunday. Maybe I can do some creative stuff over the weekend. If I do any Beatles doodles I will be sure to share 🙂
P.S. I’d love to hear all this music everyone is doing. I got a little time to actually sit down anyways, and it could accompany and inspire said doodles ^^
