I’m not denying harmless pleasures, I’m just setting them aside for a bit to focus on the work. When I come back I’ll have those pleasures for the rest of my life, and I might even appreciate them a bit more. It’s a one time thing, unless Future Wife Shears Campbell and I decide to serve in our elderly years.
I really admire your decision, it’s so important to be able to temporarily let go of some things and focus on what one loves. I’m sure you’ll appreciate the music and everything else much more when you get back! Imagine your first White Album listen after two years of abstaining from it!
I wish you all the best and that you gain some experiences and memories you’ll take with you all your life on your mission! But wait, there are still 20 days to go, so let’s enjoy them first!

@Martha, now it’s 19.
Not in my time zone!
I’ve just noticed that, coincidentally, Billy Shears Campbell has exactly 19 letters, maybe one could do some sort of countdown with it, something like ‘name a nice property of WSC that begins with a certain letter of these 19 each day’ …. Only an idea. ‘i’ would definitely feature ‘impostor’!

We technically moved out back in April, but I’ve just never found occasion to mention it here before. I’m currently living at a relative’s house because we don’t close for a couple weeks.
I’m finally moving in this weekend.

Inspired by SPB’s work experience diary, I’ll do the same thing this week, as I’ve got work experience this week.
Day 1:
I have a lovely view of my bedroom wall.
I’m sick still, but I should be better by tomorrow.

Could you tell us more about this gig.
At a Fraternity party my band played a 2 hour set from 9-11. I used to play keys and sing, but we got a new drummer, and we moved our old drummer to keyboard, so now I am just the frontman/lead singer.

Sounds good! Did you play any songs by you know who? (Not voldemort, though I imagine Riddle-Lestrange are a fine songwriting partnership)

Oh dear! Get better soon, Holey!
Right now I’m relaxing by the fire and visiting what I can proudly say is the best Beatles Internet forum on the whole wide web.

Nope. A shame it is that my band automatically refuses to play Beatles. Its probably to spite me because I never stop talking about them.

That’s a shame. Maybe get them to play something solo, like Maybe I’m Amazed ?
Well, it’s 09:51 here, but for some reason I woke up at 5 so I’m feeling rather sleep deprived.

Have fun @WeepingAtlasCedars! We plan on going camping very soon — went up Day Tripping to our favourite haunts yesterday to whet our appetites.
That’s awesome @sir walter raleigh, even if you are Beatless.
