So the real question is how much I can pay you for your organs.

I’ll probably give you a couple for one of those Russian White Albums from 1990.

How horrible, @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<! My condolences.
This does bring a story to mind. This year we had to do these oral vocab every quarter where you were given a word and had to stand up in front the class and spell it, give a definition, put it in a sentence, and some other things. Everybody hated it. For one of the tests this kid got a word he didn’t know, so our teacher tried to give him a hint by saying something about his cat dying, and it turned out that his cat actually did die earlier that week. The kid ended up getting an automatic A on the test.

Lately I’ve been delving into music a bit more, re-discovering the Turtles, the Animals, the Byrds and similar band. The 60s were such a great decade for music, I have such a soft spot for it =)

I’ve been having hard drive problems, i can’t save an OS to a hard drive on my desktop originally designed for Windows 7 so i am stuck loading try Ubuntu from disc, i especially hate how it comes pre installed with Firefox as it’s default browser, i hate Firefox, it’s so aesthetically unpleasant, it just looks disgusting. Fortunately, i can download Opera while booting from disc so i can use a decent browser.

It’s unbelievably hot here. We’re looking at temperatures from the late twenties to the early-mid thirties (it almost never gets that warm here). And, no, we don’t really have air conditioning. You may now call me MeltyC.

Try a week of sub-40C temperatures when your air-con is broken, MeltyC. Early thirties is nothing for us Aussies…
But we’re currently complaining about 15C… Each to their own!

I can feel with you MeltyC, everything above 30 C is cruel! (Don’t let any southern hemisphere inhabitant tell you something different, they don’t know what – 20 C feel like *says someone who freezes at 18 C and has never experienced anything below -10 C*)
When it gets ‘hot’ over here I love to go into the woods because it’s nice and cool in there and woods are beautiful in general. Maybe you would enjoy that too? Otherwise, I can only recommend living up to your name and eating a melting ice cream.
In school, our teacher told us to write an essay about the meaning of life in general and for oneself individually today. I was already preparing some thoughts when he said: ‘Oh, by the way, not more than half a page in hand-writing, please’. What? I could write ten pages! Right now I’m sitting in front of a blank sheet of paper and am trying to figure out whether that was meant as a joke since it was the penultimate philosophy lesson before holidays start.

So it was nice yesterday down here in the meadows. Instead of the normal 115F it was like 90-100F. It was due to the clouds that were there, however it also was a lot more humid. This next week seemes to be okay, tho Saturfay reaches 113F. Right now at 6:30 in the morning it’s actually cool(ish) at 86F

This is confusing, i was originally thinking how can 30 degrees be considered warm, that’s below water’s freezing point until i converted Fahrenheit to Celsius and realized that 30C is equal to 86F. I prefer temperatures of 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit myself.

MeltyC, I wouldn’t complain too much. Some summers in cranks up past 100 F down here. Its been pretty rainy so lately its been less hot than humid.

I had a pretty good time at Guitar Center today. First, i went to the buffet where i had something to eat and i payed for everybody, although my mother gave them a tip with her own money because i refuse to tip people and she gets pissed off at that. So then i went to Guitar Center and great news, they finally had a left handed Les Paul which meant that i got to play some Beatles songs that were originally played with that guitar with that guitar. I played Savoy Truffle , Something , While My Guitar Gently Weeps , and Sexy Sadie through a BOSS Katana. The funny part was that there was another southpaw there, i almost never see a lefty that isn’t me at Guitar Center. After the LP i decided to go for the Stratocaster and played Nowhere Man and The Word through a Fender Twin Reverb and then i returned to the transistor amp to play Foxy Lady. Finally, i grabbed the Fender Telecaster and played Brighton Rock. After that i walked home.
