Great news, i found a way to get Opera to always start in a private tab every time i press on it. I just went to the folder that it’s in, made a copy of it, and changed the location to opera –private, i’d prefer Chrome but this is the best i can get for now and i’m fine with it.

Day 2
Spent most of it sat in the corner, placing price stickers on CDs (which took 3 ½ hours – excluding the lunch break) and DVDs (which took about 2 hours) and the rest of it I spent walking around the shop until home time. When I was sorting out the CDs, I came across the same Help ! CD from yesterday. After a further, more slower observation, the album isn’t even the official 1987 one! It was a cheap pirated version, which explains the burnt discs (the second one wasn’t even by The Beatles), plus the cover was printed off the internet, and didn’t fit the case.
Anyways, I stopped sorting the CDs halfway to have my lunch break. I ran all the way to the other charity shop, but when I got there, somebody had already bought Tubular Bells I made up for it, however with this CD:
Mojo Magazine (Various Artists including The Small Faces, Donovan, The Move etc.) – Psych Out!(2006 compilation of music that was around at the time of and inspired Pink Floyd. No actual Pink Floyd tracks on the album though, unfortunately.)
I was too lazy to go the very end of the market to look at the Buddy Holly compilation again, but perhaps I might get it if I save up again. That was about it for today, so stay tuned for day three!

Do you have someone up your back that constantly tells you what to do who doesn’t belong to the company who you’re working for at all, that’s what happened to me and it made the experience very dreadful.

No, but that does sound ridiculous.

Day 3
Labelling clothes and DVDs, as well as carrying heavy bags from one side of the shop to the back room for most of it (did arrange some new records too, but nothing of interest). Wandered around the backstreets and I found a quiet bus stop to eat my lunch at during lunch break, which was a nice experience (for me, anyways ). Only two more days until it ends.

Probably a naff response, but:I feel as if I’ve learnt how things need to be organised and well presented in certain places (e.g. how I was placing price stickers/tags on clothing or DVDs), also helping customers out a little (unless it’s the people who are telling me what to do or the other kids working there, I still find myself quite nervous to approach customers with confidence if anything happens.) . I should be doing the checkout on the final day, so perhaps I will gain a more professional customer service soon!

Have fun, maybe you might even see Martha or maybe you can meet up with her so the 2 of you can go to some Beatley landmarks together and don’t forget to sing Two Of Us if you choose to do so.

Not sure if this should go in this thread but hey ho, I’m sure there are some fellow classical lovers among us. Does anybody know any good music composition software? I don’t mean recording software like Logic, just a programme where one can write sheet music and play it back? I’ve always used Sibelius (the software not the composer) as we have it at my school but I’m not carrying on music after this year, and plus I can’t stand the violin sound on it. So any ideas?
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I’m not big into classical but i can tell you some tips on what to use to write songs.
I recommend instead of using software to use actual instruments to make your song and using Audacity to record it. Some great instruments to use in a song include guitar, whether it be acoustic or electric, drums or some form of percussion such as tambourine or cowbell, a bass part, and some keys.
As for songwriting and composition, i recommend thinking about what type of song you want.
For example, If you want a simple upbeat pop number with acoustic guitar, piano, Fender bass, drums, and tambourine, you could do an A to D progression or maybe if you want to do a soft ballad, you could go from D# to D#/D to Cm, A#, G#, and G#m, thinking about composition in your head is key.

We have Finale where I work, but that too is something you have to purchase.
I don’t know about any of these programs, but I just Googled to see if I could find anything for you, @QuarryMan.

Decided only to come on earlier to change my avatar to Ringo because I was lazy and lied around soon after I finished Day 4. Here’s how it went anyways:
Labelling and arranging things. Again. (exciting stuff! ) During the lunch break I sat at the same bus stop, but this time, it was more busier than yesterday, so I didn’t stay as long. Instead I went walking around the backstreets again for the remainder of the lunch break and came across a few shady trees and flowers to wander about. I’m thinking of having my lunch there instead of the bus stop, but I don’t want to look like a beggar or hitchhiker, because it’s opposite a supermarket car park! Funny how I always find the lunch breaks more fascinating than the actual work. Perhaps working in a charity shop is not for me… . On the bright side, I will be giving a shot at the checkout tomorrow, so I still have some hope.
The bus journey home was rather annoying too. First of all, the bus got held up because the driver was arguing with some girl with a big attitude, then a little kid kept shouting on the bus, telling everyone to get off the bus and ringing the bell over and over.
Ah, well, that’s all for now!
