I got home from Trek on Saturday. Then yesterday I was driving to the young single adult activity(my second one. Youth activities are a thing of the past. The trek was probably my last one. Now I’m an adult.), and just as I pulled into the church parking lot, my check engine light flicked on. Earlier that day I was driving my friend’s siblings to music practice and was paid $20 for it. Towards the end my car was acting funny, so I guess the drive to the church was the nail in the coffin. So my car had to get towed and is currently in the shop. Hopefully it will be out soon. I the tow truck guy told us that it’s probably something small, so hopefully that’s the case. I wish this would have waited a month to happen, but I suppose you can’t win them all.

@QuarryMan I’m sorry to hear that. I can relate though. Back in September. I had a good friend of mine completely shut me out randomly for what seemed to be no reason. It was a very upsetting and confusing patch, but this forum, as well as another good friend of mine were able to take my mind off the situation.

Thanks @William Shears Campbell heart I’m feeling a lot better since that all happened. Just applied for a job at my local cinema. I’m going to save up so I can complete my Beatles vinyl collection (I’ve only got AR, SPLHCB and Revolver so far).

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

On a different note, has anybody done the Myers Briggs personality test? I’m an INFP type (introverted, intuitive, feeling, prospective and turbulent) which I’m very happy with as that is also J.R.R Tolkein’s type. I’m also happy as I did the test a few months ago as well and got the same result as I did just now.

This was a topic of discussion on the forum a few months ago, after someone posted a tumbler thing that put the different personality types with a Beatles song. I took the test and got The Campaigner, which equated to Across The Universe .

No idea who Myers Briggs is.

I did a personality test (16personalities.com) which revealed me to be a ‘Virtuoso’ (ISTP), and was very accurate.

Introvert – 94%

Observant – 76%

Thinking – 55%

Prospecting – 75%

Assertive – 61%

The Myers Briggs is the same thing as 16personalities.com . Funny, I got literally the exact opposite result to my brother.

Get well soon @The Hole Got Fixed! Being sick during school holidays is so annoying!a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Today, during a rehearsal of the church band I’m a member of, I found out by coincidence (I quoted some Beatles lyrics, in German though, and he got it immediately) that our band leader, the bassist, is a huge Beatles fan himself! After the rehearsal, he played about twenty different basslines and wanted me to guess which song each of them is taken from! It was great fun and also a cool discovery!

apple01apple01apple01 Apples to help you get better, Holey.

What will you do with your time this summer, WAC?

I got so frustrated with a vendor at work today that I got a headache. I took some Tylenol, and I am feeling better.

Probably write, practice guitar a whole lot more, and hopefully spend a little more time with my friend.

Got my prom tonight! Not really looking forward to it though, I predict it will be extremely awkward.

I’m sure it’ll go well. I thought mine would be awkward but it wasn’t so bad in the end! A few drinks down and you’ll be fine paul-mccartney-thumb_gif

I thought mine was going to be great, and it was until about 2 am when I apparently blacked out and starting taking long keg stands and trying to fight all of my closest friends.
