It’s over 110° where you live right now, it’s a good thing that air conditioning exists or you would probably be lying on the floor unconscious due to the heat.

I feel particularly sad for no reason Maybe because this stupid heatwave which has gone on forever is wracking my brain (Ringo reference ).
Oh no! Feel better soon, Peppy!
EDIT: Apparently, it’s going to be almost 35°C here tomorrow. Ugh!
Ye-ouch! And I start to suffer at 25-ish°C.
I have my very last day of classes tomorrow. After that, it’s all exams. Time moves too fast.

Argh, that’s awful, I feel with you! Hope your mood gets better soon!

Lounging in the sun right now. Anybody got any good films I should watch? Preferably on Netflix. As much as I love it, I’m beginning to get tired of rewatching How I Met Your Mother over and over (it’s my favourite TV show ever). Alternatively, could anyone suggest me some music to listen to? I’m trying to get more into classical and jazz.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.

About Netflix, dunno if you have already seen it , or if it is available in your country (i guess so) but if you haven’t watch it i’d suggest you “The It Crowd”.
For Jazz : “Miles Davis – Relaxin’ with Miles Davis Quintet” . Upbeat and fun. Not too complicated.
Classical: Mahler Symphony No 4. Win, win.

If you’re looking for some good Netflix comedy then you can’t go wrong with I’m Alan Patridge.
In terms of jazz i’d give Charles Mingus’s ‘Mingus Ah Um’ a listen. Discovered it the other week and it’s a masterpiece.

Thank you! I will be sure to check out your recommendations. @Shamrock Womlbs – I am familiar with somebody of Davis’ work, particularly the album Kind Of Blue as we studied All Blues in Munich music class, but I have not heard your suggestion.

Boy, I hope I two years isn’t enough to turn me into a Northerner
@QuarryMan As for good shows on Netflix, I reccomend
Breaking Bad+Better Call Saul
The Office (US and then if you want UK)
Parks and Recreation
Arrested Development(Just to Season 3. Season 4 is a Netflix original and isn’t worth the watch.)
Psych (If it’s still on Netflix)
Granite Flats
That should keep you busy for a while. If I can think of anything else I’ll just add it to this post.

I had one hell of a day. Because my mother took away my brother’s laptop, I got really pissed off and started punching walls so I decided to go out for the day. First, I went to the mall and walked around and had lunch, although due to me constantly thinking about you guys, I was only able to eat 9 out of the 13 tacos I got from Taco Bell. Then I went to the Guitar Center. First I grabbed the Strat and played Back In The USSR , Rock And Roll Band, Iron Man, Eruption, Tie Your Mother Down, and Bohemian Rhapsody and then I went to the drums and looked around for awhile and decided to go to the acoustic guitar room where I grabbed the Fender acoustic and played a selection of Beatles hits in full, which in order is:
I Feel Fine (used lefty acoustic electric)
Ticket To Ride (sang as well)
Help !
Yesterday (sang as well, didn’t detune guitar so it sounded a step sharp)
Nowhere Man (sang as well)
Here, There, And Everywhere
Eleanor Rigby (sang as well)
Strawberry Fields Forever (used lefty acoustic electric)
And I Love Her (used righty classical and played George’s part unlike John’s part which I did for the other songs)
A Day In The Life (sang as well)
One of the best parts was when I was halfway through I Am The Walrus , someone grabbed a guitar and jammed along, I wonder if he was aware was the song was.
After that I went to Target and bought myself something to eat and then walked home. It was fun although I was constantly thinking about you guys and how I love you and miss you and wish you were here but until I get the balls to move out, it’s just me.

Nope. I get too warm really easily, and I hate tying back my hair, so it’s like a giant scarf. I also guess it doesn’t help that I almost never take off my sweater when I’m out of the house…

That sounds like so much fun, @Dark Overlord! Maybe you can persuade the owners of the Guitar Centre to organise a Beatles jam session once? Then all the Beatlemaniacs in your city can finally unite!

Being in the middle of moving is weird. I had a job interview today and I actually had to use my birth certificate as one of my two forms of ID simply because I knew where it was.
