Been absolutely gorgeous weather around here lately and I have managed to swim numerous times in the past few days. On saturday I camped beside a tarn (basically a lake in the mountains) and swam in there in the morning. I was humming Mother Nature’s Son the whole time (before returning to my bedroom to sit on the forum for hours on end).

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Wow, I’m amazed at your reading speed. This also means you can read the chapter about Sgt Pepper ‘s at its fiftieth birthday how fitting!
I’ll be honest and say I’ve been reading it in parts since September 2016! Looking at how much of 1966 is left, if teacher leaves those kids alone (with homework), I should be on 1967 by the end of the week (possibly beginning 68).
Oops, sorry I mixed everything up and thought you had just bought it yesterday but those were other books.
Anyway: ‘Hey! Teachers! Leave those kids alone, so SgtPeppersBulldog can enjoy his Anthology book!’

After saving Pepper for two months, I’ve waited all morning until I could get a chance to play the album so that Little Girl could listen, too. Oh, wait, she wants to listen to Piper At The Gates Of Dawn now, and makes a bloody great stink about it. Well, I’m going off and enjoying Pepper by myself. Think For Yourself cos I won’t be there, etc.
Bloody kids

I have been urgently drafted by my old-school to be a scribe for a person with serious anxiety in their state exams. Now this is great and everything, I’ll get good pay and I’m doing it in French and Irish so ’tis not bad at all, at all EXCEPT I have to miss my family holiday to Italy, as there is no one in the area bar me (well la di da, go me) capable of doing the exams.
Balls.

Mrs. Ramon accidentally slammed my right hand in the car door last night.
Nothing broken but I’ve got to wear a brace on my forearm and hand which is really making it difficult to do…everything.

Thinking about breaking, earlier today I broke my Windows 8 laptop intentionally because I am fed up with being on it all day. To be fair, it was already in shambles, so it’s not like it was in good condition, I’m using my brother’s laptop right now, so please don’t get mad if I’m on less frequently. I love you guys and you are my only friend but spending the entire day on the forum isn’t healthy. Don’t worry, I’ll still be here on the forum.

No it’s not. You need to find other interests and other people to converse with, be it in person or in person.

See if your local Guitar Center or Sam Ash have jam sessions you can sit in.

This is the 9,000th post in this thread, only 1,000 before we reach 5 digits.
You’re right meanmistermustard, it would be great to have friends but then again the friends I used to have did a lot of weird things that I won’t discuss in this thread, so you guys are far better friends than them. Don’t worry though, if I ever go to near where you guys are, I will PM you some information and I might even visit you.
As for the Guitar Center, I love that store and I even went there yesterday and played And Your Bird Can Sing , One, An impromptu solo based off Henry Mancini’s Pink Panther theme, and Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band/Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) (what I did was when it went to the Billy Shears section, instead of going C D E, I went C D E F and started the reprise) and then went over to the acoustic section and played Nowhere Man .
The problem with the Guitar Center though is that unlike most people, I’m left handed, so I can only pick from a very small number of guitars to comfortably play from. At my store, my choices are limited to a Squier Stratocaster, a Fender Telecaster, one of those cheap poor quality Ibanez guitars, and a Fender acoustic, so I pretty much only have Fenders to choose from. Also, there’s a left handed Gibson Les Paul, but the strings are on like as if the guitar is right handed.
