I’m surprised @meanmistermustard and @Joe haven’t said anything about this, as well as @Zig although he isn’t on that often.
I was working, life gets in the way of forum duties.
If someone spams the site then the content is deleted, what their location is is immaterial. We’re not going to let folk read it as that defeats the point of deleting it.
Spammers are getting more difficult to identify immediately as now the first post or two can be Beatles related and it’s only later do they post their intended content. As soon as it becomes apparent the posts are deleted.
We are nice people and we like to go with the benefit of the doubt.

Why is clear.
Where, when, if, what and how are the subsequent questions.
Out seems to be moving. In can see more.
The stake is everything, the reward is more yet highly uncertain.

I’m converting my friends into Beatles fans. One of my closest friends is already a semi-fan and her favorite song is Norwegian Wood . I make sure to get Twist And Shout onto the playlist every time my group has some kind of party or event and have even convinced another of my friends (who is a profound ‘The Beatles are overrated and Guns N Roses are the best band ever’ person – shocking I know) that they’re not so bad after all. Funny thing is, for a Guns N Roses lover, his favorite Beatles song is Blackbird . Who would have thought it?

I don’t know. I think I’ll see how it goes. In some ways, I feel better today (My fever has gone down). In some ways, I feel worse (It mildly hurts to breathe deeply and I didn’t feel that way yesterday). In some ways, I feel the same (My dizziness has stayed pretty much the same). Right now, I’m living with my aunt who is a nurse, so I figure that I’ll get her opinion when she gets home.
Oh, and, as always, thank you.

I thought I’d tell you about some of the stuff I did today, which is why I wasn’t on the forum for 6 hours.
I decided to walk to Guitar Center, which is about a 45 minute walk from my house and considering I was wearing flip flops and it was a very hot day by the time I made it there, I was very sweaty and almost got blisters on my feet. Anyways, I got there and that lefty Les Paul they had was still restrung for a righty player which makes no sense because you’d think a righty player would just buy a righty guitar. That left me with either the Squier Strat, the Fender Tele, or the poor quality Ibanez. I chose the Strat and plugged into a Marshall amp where I played Birthday by The Beatles (with 2 added guitar solos), Detroit Rock City by KISS, Tie Your Mother Down by Queen, and Bring It On Home by Led Zeppelin (with an added guitar solo).
Then I went to the acoustic section, being left handed meant my only choice was a Fender acoustic and I played some Beatles songs, Nowhere Man , I’ve Just Seen A Face , I’m Looking Through You , Dear Prudence , and While My Guitar Gently Weeps , although I don’t typically sing along, for those last 2 I did. Then onto the drums and keyboards, I didn’t play an actual song but had fun improvising. Then I looked at some the music books looking to see if there was anything interesting, as well as anything that I could look at to find inaccuracies but what I found was even more interesting, a book about learning guitar for girls, more about this in the pet peeves thread.
Anyways, I eventually went back to playing electric guitar briefly (in retrospective, it reminds me of the end of Time where they reprise Breathe), this time grabbing a right handed King V and flipping it over (I hate playing guitar this way, it doesn’t just feel uncomfortable, but it also reverses the string order), I then played Iron Man.
I then decided to leave and have lunch at the nearby Chinese buffet, where I had a round of lunch and a round of desert and after that, I handed the person my money and asked for change. If you don’t already know, I don’t tip people.
After the desert, I felt worse than Geoff Emmerick after those long hours working on Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da , so I went into the Target bathroom and threw up, so fast that it went out of my mouth and nose. Finally, my mother drove me home and now I’m here with my friends.

an epic tale! you have mighty self control to play songs all the way through in a guitar shop. At mine I just bash through whatever riffs I can think of before going onto a twelve string for some jangling. My favorite guitarist is Johnny Marr of the Smiths and I’m trying to come up with guitar lines of my own to match his signature jangle.

I like to finish songs instead of just play pieces of them and I think it’s cool that I can play the solo to Detroit Rock City on one guitar, I sure wish I was right handed though, playing a Les Paul sounds fun instead of being stuck with a Fender Stratocaster, although I do love mine.

I should have been asleep a long time ago, but I’m not. I suspect I’ve got a nasty case of food poisoning, but if I don’t, I’ve definitely got bad cramps in my stomach. And of course the cramps started exactly when I got to bed…
