It’s me!
Haven’t been on this forum since *GASP* the 8th of December! Got a bit fed up with all those forums I’m on. Also, life is insanely busy.
In 3 months I’ll be done with college and after summer vacation I want to get my teacher’s degree in Social Studies. I also picked that as a minor, so it’ll only take 1 year instead of 3. Also, I just got a new job for the weekends. I used to work at a weekend school (I still do, but that will be over after May), but now I’m going to work at an interior store.

Offline Have spent most of this afternoon and evening sitting in Casualty (or A&E) after stabbing my thumb with a paring knife when I slipped slicing a Sharon fruit.
Top part of the thumb, went through virtually to the bone. Just couldn’t stop the barsteward bleeding.
Sealed now with a spray on sealant and a steri-strip.
8 fecking hours in Casualty!
Most annoying thing is I was meant to be having dinner with @Hannah this evening. We’ve rearranged for next Wednesday.
Big swollen thumb I can’t bend at the moment, but the coffee and brandy mixed with the painkiller are helping! 
Good to hear the tee-shirt was worth the money, @Zig. I was only enjoying the cleverness of the design when I posted it. You know, not your usual cash-in design. Takes some knowledge to get it, and if someone does you know they’re probably worth a conversation, and if someone doesn’t and asks about it, an excuse to talk Beatles.

Offline Emotionally, it was a roller coaster ride of a day.
On the upside, I was informed that the lump I recently discovered was benign and could be easily removed. After leaving the Doctor’s office, I sat in my car in the paking lot and sobbed with relief.
On the downside, I was informed that many of my colleagues – including my manager – are being “impacted”. Wisdom teeth get impacted. Once, my horse’s ass got impacted. People get fired.
What a wonderfully shitty day.
