I’ve started a physical folder (really just an old cardboard record sleeve) where I keep all my writings in, like my short (and long) stories and my poems. It really eases my mind, because before I would just throw all the stuff I wrote away (not that it was any good anyway), and regret it later.
Also I’ve aquired a shelf for my records (so they’re not sitting on the floor anymore). But there’s no space in it for my Beatles/solo records, so I keep them in “what-is-not-functioning-as-a-drawer-but-is-a-drawer” drawer.

Offline My work environment is very negative which sucked me down. Having decided I don’t want to be miserable I have decided to stop the grumbling and moaning by and near me. Doubt my work colleagues are delighted I’m upfront and have told them I’m having no grumbling around me.

It’s history repeating. Happened with a church I was in years ago where I never said anything and it just got worse. Eventually I left, as did many others, and in the end it collapsed.
There will no doubt be comeback as who likes being told they are negative but hey ho.
All I can hear is George saying “I mean you’re very negative” during the ‘White Album ‘ sessions.

Offline I’m on a bit of a Muse kick right now.
Had a terrific band practise session today, played quite a few Muse songs and butchered poor old Here Comes The Sun again. One of our other friends showed up to hear us jam out, and I was quite pleased to see him too.
Then I got a Pink Floyd T-shirt at the shop afterwards.

Offline I’ve been posting from my dad’s house today.
Our internet service provider suddenly changed their data rates. They sent us a huge bill we couldn’t pay, then refused to switch us over to a better plan until next month. We still have internet for a while, but we can’t use it for anything other than school/work because the limit is so low. Long story short, I’ll most likely be gone for most of this month (and possibly more if they keep giving us trouble) unless I pop in for a cheeky look every few days or so.
On the bright side: The post is slow as heck, but my friends and I are going to send each other letters anyway. I’m actually kind of excited, since I haven’t gotten to exchange letters with my friends in years. There’s something special about traditional mail!

@Ahhh Girl The scholarship is academic and need based. Supposedly I’m in like the top 150 of applicants. To put that in perspective, they only admit about 1800 per year.

I’m back, friends. So I was out on basically a week with no TV, Internet, video games, and non church or classical music. All I could do on my phone was text and call. We essentially had to do these things on this card and each thing was a certain amount of points and the person with the most points won a $15 Chick Fil A gift card. I won the card.
The reason it was a Chick Fil A card is because we have never had one down here in The Spanish Meadows(Las Vegas), and we got one built here and it opened at the end of January, so for the last 2 months it has been all the rage. It’s gotten to the point where police needed to direct the traffic. I’ve been there before(in another state) and it’s nothing special, but now I have a reason to go to the new one that has been built.
