Offline I had two removed and the noises when they were removed were horrible. Lots of effort and energy was used by the surgeon as well.
The weirdest was when I had deep root canal treatment and a whole load of students came in to watch as it happened. Not a pleasant experience lying there knowing that a number of people are peering on whilst someone is rooting away in your mouth.

Offline The last time I was in at the dentist (in early December), I was told there’s no sign of mine coming in anytime soon* (praise the Lord) but yeah I think my dentist said I’ve a small mouth so I’ll probably have to get them taken out if they ever do make a show.
*My teeth are notoriously bad at growing in/falling out on time- baby teeth that were meant to fall out around age 10, hadn’t fallen out by the time I was 12 and they had no sign of budging so my dentist pulled them out (they grew in perfectly fine though- yay). So, hopefully I won’t have to deal with wisdom teeth for a long, long…..long time.

Offline I was in a pub in London tonight and they had a pub quiz and one question was …..out of the 28 albums The Beatles made name ten.
????? They only made 12
The quizmaster went on to name all the US, UK and even French titles

I just finished writing chapter one of my book. I’d been working in a very piecemeal fashion for way too long, doing bits here and there, but a couple of weeks ago decided to start at the start and finish at the finish. It’s good to have a bit of discipline.
I’ve practically finished writing three other chapters, which just need a little tidying up, citations found etc. I have three more to write almost from scratch, and an afterword which is mainly notes right now. So I’m about halfway through, nearly 70,000 words written. Hopefully I’ll finish the first draft soon and can start the proofing/editing process. More soon.

Offline Wisdom teeth are pulled. The procedure wasn’t so bad. The only part that was bad was when my mouth was numb, but I could still taste the blood running down the back of my throat.
But I put on SMiLE and Ram , so as long as I focused on the music, I was fine.

Offline I’ve been sorta sick and with a twisted ankle since Wednesday. It hasn’t been fun, but I only have one more thing I gotta do before I can really start the weekend, and that’s to perform at a basketball game tonight with the jazz band.
