I wasn’t sure exactly where to put this, but it happened in my life, so here it goes:I had to chose an artist for a project, research and write about them for school, so of course I chose Klaus.
I wrote an entire page worth about him from memory, and I only needed a paragraph. How much of a Klaus nerd am I?

*I HATE MALLS with a passion. (Warning: petty rant ahead) They’re noisy, crowded, they smell funny, they’re too bright, I have to walk miles whilst dodging poky strangers wearing too much cologne, usually, and I’m bombarded from all sides by splashy advertising for things I’m not even slightly interested in, I can feel my sense of self being worn away by everything around me, and it’s just generally horrible.Why the smeg do people enjoy shopping?!?!?!!
The one thing that made it bearable was my trusty headphones and some Rubber Soul (though it took so long I ended up listening to bits of Wish You Were Here and Sgt Peppers). I’m sure I looked a fright as my headphones are, let’s put it this way, not designed with fashion foremost in mind, and they’d been tackily mended by yours truly after getting somewhat broken, but I couldn’t have cared less — they kept my soul intact. My mall shield.

Why would you go to the mall with your mom and then have headphones on while you’re there? Maybe this is just me, but when I go places with my mom, it’s to spend time with her…
What’s new in my life is I brought my dog with me to school and that makes school a lot more bearable.

Nobody asked me, but…
In reading @Beatlebug ‘s original post on the last page, I understood she was only at the mall because she was waiting for her mom to finish and drive her to the gee-taw store on the way home. The headphones were a welcomed diversion. As a matter of fact, from reading other posts from SG, I get the impression that she and her family spend much quality time together.

Thank you, excellent Sir Stardust — that was exactly the case. We do indeed spend a great deal of time together, but never at malls — a mutually-disliked locale for us all.

Offline Another mystery lump being removed via day surgery tomorrow and going off for a biopsy.
Hopefully it’s not another cancerous growth – though the last one was completely removed via the surgery 5 months or so ago. Ah, white men in the tropics 🙁

Yes. I know dogs can get Addison’s too.
It’s one of those annoying things where when it hits there is nothing you can do except ride it out. I took my meds 4 hours late and hadn’t had much to eat but I have taken meds 8+ hours late before having had little to eat and it’s been fine. Bloody weird when you’re wondering how you got to where you are place-wise and it takes all your energy for your focus not to collapse entirely.
The thing is I’m less concerned about it than others around me which pisses them off as they are concerned.
