Yeah but they lick parts of themselves which should not be licked.

I’ve been asked to be a co-coordinator of one of the service users at my work. The role comes with no benefits, more paperwork and more responsibility. Social Care certainly knows how to make your job better.

I think you misread, @AppleScruffJunior. I said yes. Wasn’t that clear in my text?

At the tale end of a 6 hr bus ride. I’ve been reading the forum while listening to the Twickenham Sessions and Bob Dylan’s 65-66 shows the whole time.

Of course, I forgot to bring a book for the trip! a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

“El Blanco”

In other news, exams are done today. Then for lunch I went to eat at this pizza place for a band fundraiser. While there I spilled tomato sauce on my pants. Then when I went to get a refill on my soda I put my cup under the coke slot and pushed it in on the trigger, while simultaneously pushing the trigger for the diet coke slot, causing my hand to be drenched in diet coke…. I’m such a mess.paul-mccartney-facepalm_gif Anyway, other than that I had fun.

Perhaps my namesake song, Martha My Dear ? Martin and Martha — both my dears a-hard-days-night-george-9heart

*cough*or Jimi*cough**cough**cough*

Henrietta? a-hard-days-night-george-10

Unfortunately the instrument feels far too sleek for such old-fashioned names, which seem better suited to an acoustic guitar. I’m considering calling it Cirrus Major (a riff on the Pink Floyd song) or Sundog, as I saw one today and it reminded me of the guitar. ahdn_george_06

If I’d a black Strat (which I was this a-hard-days-night-paul-7 close to getting), I might have named it Gilmour. a-hard-days-night-john-6

(I realise that I come across as a hopeless Pink Floyd lunatic in this post, but…

Not trying to sound perverted here, but that is a cute guitar, more cuter than a baby sleeping with a puppy. His name shall be

Maybe one day… right now I’m just going to focus on playing.

here’s a list of 10 Strat players to help you out:

I appreciate it, but you know I knew most of em already ahdn_ringo_09

1. David Gilmour, Pink Floyd (main guitar throughout career)

This man is 80% of the reason I ever got a Strat in the first place. He is my favourite guitarist ever, hands down (on the fretboard of The Black Strat, where they belong a-hard-days-night-george-10).

2. Jimi Hendrix, The Jimi Hendrix Experience (main guitar throughout career)

Cream-coloured, no less… just like mine. a-hard-days-night-john-1

4. George Harrison , The Beatles (main guitar from 1965-1968, used on several tracks including Nowhere Man , Taxman , and All You Need Is Love )

Another 10% of the reason I ever got a Strat, the last 10% being I tried one in the shop and fell in love.

You plan on doing any modifications such as hardtailing, I recommend you hardtail your Strat because without the hardtail, it will go out of tune a lot easilier.

Maybe you should try posting more.

My best friend is goin out of town and missing a gig at another school’s dance, so I get to fill in for him on keys. Of course, even as a fill in I insisted on doing a Beatles song. For a nice slow dance, we will play Something

I also get to wail on Whole Lotta Love.

I recommend some Halls, over that random brand I’ve never heard of.

Speaking of coughs, Mother Shears Campbell appears to be sick with a sore throat. She went to the doctor today, and tested negative for strep, so she’s not sure what’s wrong. She also refuses to take a day off work. Good thing tomorrow’s Friday and she’ll be able to get some well deserved rest over the weekend.

Luden’s are great. They taste like candy. The only problem is that you have to try to stop eating them like candy after you’re not sick anymore.

That’s pretty much the case for all cough drops.

Well in my life today, I have no exams, however much of the school does. That being said, I’m still going to early morning seminary. Then I’m off to breakfast with some of the other seniors with 4 classes at some not yet decided breakfast place. Then it’s home by 9 to watch our (The US’s) lovely orange leader get sworn into office. Then I was thinking of heading over to the Vinyl store, or maybe my local thrift store for similar reasons.
