So, I’m just into New Year’s Eve, and I’m curious if anyone has big plans for their leap second?Obviously, with it occurring at 23:59:60 GMT, I’ll be using the extra time to reflect more deeply on the last year than I might normally before stumbling into a new year. For others though, you’ll get the extra second at times of day maybe offering more choice about what you do with it. Looking forward to hearing how you all plan to make the most of it.

Offline Things I have accomplished so far today:
1. ordered Eight Days A Week movie for myself
2. Ordered Help ! movie for a friend as a late Christmas/new years gift
3. Laundry, in progress
4. Syncing my music collection over PC/Kindle/phone, somehow. In progress
Also after 9 days I think I’m finally starting to get over a persistent sinus cold/flu thing that’s hitting everyone at work.
May 2016 kindly GTFO, and 2017 be a happy new year guaranteed for all.

Happy New Year everyone, as always Dublin’s fireworks were abysmal (lasted about 5 seconds), why don’t they ever invest more than €500 in fireworks? It honestly doesn’t need to be like London. A minute’s fireworks would be better than the shoddy rubbish we get every year (bonus points if it’s choreographed to music).
Anyways I wish you all a happy and healthy New Year, Trump and Brexit this year- hold on tight everyone

Offline We started New Year’s Eve at our favorite local watering hole having dinner, drinks, laughs and hugs with great friends. Then it was home to watch a couple of our favorite concert DVD’s – Stevie Ray Vaughan Live at Montreaux 1985 and U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Live in Paris. Zag did not make it until midnight but I surprised myself by seeing 12AM…1AM…2AM and finally 3AM. It’s the first time in years I was awake to see in the new year.
My butt is dragging today.

Offline It’s strange how you go into a job thinking the difficult part is supporting the clients when the truth is it is with your colleagues as everyone has their own s**t to go thru as well.
I’ve decided to hell with the bullshit and what others may think and to do whatever I can to help or make it even a little bit better. Tonight a steadfast rule was broken so the right thing was done – will be interesting to see if those higher in command view it that way or its the cane. I don’t care.

Do you have to wear hard hats at work, mmm? Because if you do, then I think you would have a good case to make for getting leave. One time I fell on my head which caused a bump to appear, and I had to wear a helmet for like three hours that day and it was really painful.
